So, I had to get up at like 3am yesterday because my dad had a foot surgery and the place he was getting it done was close to my friends house, so I ended up waking up, getting ready for school (Which I had to look fancy for) where I had 2 presentations, a mock trial and a mock interview. It was at school that I consumed copious amounts of caffeine. I then had 2 different club meetings I couldn't miss as I am part of the presidency. I got home at 6 and did a bunch of homework which I am not done with, got my dad situated as he came home from surgery, made dinner, relaxed for 10 minutes, did dishes and cleaned up (My mom had been at the hospital all day and didn't sleep at all yesterday so she was passed out). I finished more homework and then gave my father his 50 medications before coming upstairs where I am now exhausted but can't seem to fall asleep.
Thanks to the cold that I have and am recovering from I slept most of the day, thus I am not tired.
My brain when I'm tired can jump from something intelligent like "It's so unfair that Alan Turing was convicted of homosexuality and lost security clearance at Bletchley Park" to something strangely deep but still weird like "The inside of Corpse Husband's cottage in the woods is orange, from the fireplace. Weird shadows on the walls from things floating in jars." to something completely unintelligible like me literally saying "Karl" then giggling
Sleep deprivation tends to have that effect on people.
This is what I'm currently doing.
Also, Corpse Husband rocks!
This is what I'm currently doing.
I got my tabs mixed up and changed it to what I actually wanted it to link to! 😅
I'm sorry, did I just find people of my kind?
so proud of my cousin
decides to sleep at 1 am
actually, that's pretty bad for a six-year old
I hate it when I don't understand the title of a book that I'm reading.
So, how're things going for my fellow sleep deprived/insomniacs?
life's pretty tiring, but do our bodies let us sleep? no. i was gonna try to take a nap on saturday but then my mom got home and told me we were going to run some errands so that didn't work out.
yes, oof. but i did get some sleep saturday night cuz i was very tired. but i woke up at 9 sunday morning and tried to stay in bed and go back to sleep but i couldn't, then i realized that it was easter and i had to get ready soon anyways.
i haven't slept in a good while but that stopped last night
i was almost going on a record 5 days without sleeping but i just HAD to lay down and watch tv
and when i lay down under a comfy blanket, i pass right tf out
so that's that i guess
So, how're things going for my fellow sleep deprived/insomniacs?
you know, despite getting not much sleep, i'm doing good.
we had a little barbecue with family and friends for easter and returned a dog to their owners.
that sounds nice. i found out that my aunt's dog died on easter so that kinda sucked but my other aunt was literally in love with her bulldog and it was very sweet
Ah. There was one time where I did find a dog. My friend and I were walking to his house and we see a dog without a leash following a family. We thought it was trained or something but eventually, it stopped following them and followed us. A few steps later we found the owner and returned the dog.
I unfortunately wasn't able to spend yesterday with my family. I'm still getting over the cold that I had….
The Easter of O-2 my best friend fell out of a tree and sprained his tailbone.
oh no, that sucks :/ i'm very thankful i got to spend easter with my family. i feel like we haven't done that with everyone in too long. a lot of them have been vaccinated already as well so that made me feel more comfortable
I got to see pictures on fb.
Any of y'all following "Sy Reads"? If so what do you think about my posts?
