I usually don’t revive threads that are older like this one but I had a thought that I thought REALLY deeply on….

werewolves..with braces..imagine how painful/annoying that would be…

@The-N-U-T-Cracker

if she died while stretching would she stay all stretched out or retract back to normal?
could she potentially reshape her entire facial structure by adjusting her jawline, eye placement, nose length, etc?
can you snap her extended limbs like rubber bands or do they break like normal bones?

@Pickles group

She'd probably just stay
I feel like if she could, there wouldn't really be a point. She doesn't really have a use for it and it seems to be work to stretch. Staying like that would probably hurt and take a lot of effort, especially if she were going to keep it exactly the same. Like how holding perfectly is super hard
I bet she'd just make them go bendy but if she was sleeping they'd probably just break. Iirc no one tries in the movies so it's probably not possible for other people to make them go rubber

Would you prefer it if they were not?

I’m not sure but I find it highly unsettling especially whenever I hear the term “bone dry” because bones are only important when they’re wet.

They're still important when they're dry. Skeletons tell us a lot about 1. How someone died 2. How they lived 3. Other important things about the time period and climate that someone lived. They help doctors learn (? Probably?) And they keep your body from turning into a skin puddle after you're dead

Well i mean like if your bones are dry they aren't important to you anymore

because you're hypothetically not alive

Well yeah, you have bigger problems, but the world keeps going when you're dead. They're still important
