You never know, some people get really defensive when it comes to their personal space.

Usually I try not to be rude! I know I’m a stranger but I usually send out a compliment or something just to brighten up their day. I don’t generally expect them to say much back, or anything really.

So a lotta people think that’s hella rude.

*Weird, uncomfortable, awkward, and disrespectful of people's space and right to interact with people they want to and actually know, rather than strangers

So I'm listening to the RWBY Sound track to get hyped for Volume 8
I forgot how much I love this music

I'm sorry Blake, just your character hasn't really developed enough musically for me to love your musical arc.
And Ruby, poor Ruby hasn't gotten a new song in forever, JUST GIVE RUBY SONGS/CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT COME ON!

Actually, I do think you're wrong, @Threncota-Cenboots, I do hate to say it, although some people think that it's "hella rude" other people may think that it's also rather nice. Some people just need a pick me up from day to day, and seeing just a kind word from someone else, who you may or may not know, in mine and in quite a few other people's opinions is rather nice. What I do think is, "*Weird uncomfortable, awkward, and disrespectful", is the fact that you and other people, including @Althalosian-is-a-Noble-Domkathin feel the need to point this out in such a way. Making another person feel very bad about themself. Although, I do understand that some people do get defensive about their personal space, that is for them to say, not for you. Mind you, this is the "Share things nobody asked you to share chat", so you ought to be willing to make allowances, or bypass certain comments. Including the ones talking about awkward tan lines or walking around your home in a tank top to find that your father is home. So thank you for your time, and hopefully, you decide to be a bit less callous in your replies.

Yeah tbh I'm in the latter category and I'm kind actually kind of surprised that people think it's rude? I mean, I guess it would depend on what the message said but I don't really see anything wrong with messaging someone out of the blue to try and strike up a friendly conversation.

A differing in opinion concerning a topic that has a diversity of conflicting answers is not "wrong." You just said it yourself. Some people, like myself and the vast majority of my friends, don't care for random PMs, especially when they have no real meaning behind them. They clutter the inbox with more chats that never get used, and for some people it spikes the anxiety up.

You may think that it's nice to PM people out of nowhere, but that doesn't make Pickles wrong just because she doesn't.

You like RWBY too? Holy crab apple! Ruby does need some new stuff, Weiss is cool and all, I have been compared to Yang previously in life, so I love her, but can I just say Penny is great. Also Qrow is in some deep crap. And Jaun, let's not forget that haircut. Ren and Nora, I shipped them for forever. And poor Oscar. He's so torn… Season 8 needs to already come out. Along with season 4 of Attack on Titan…..

my inbox is so cluttered that i can never find the old PMs i need lmao

personally, i don't really give much of a shit. pm me if you want, and it's my choice on whether you get answered or not, considering you're literally private messaging someone who doesn't know you at all. and yeah for me it varies on the contents of the message they sent and if they're a user i've seen and like or not(i have ignored PMs from users that i don't like)

but pickle is entirely valid in not wanting strange people on the internet to privately message her. if that's rude to you then my dude. you might want to pick up a dictionary and re-read the meaning of rude

After reading what has happened i can understand both points of view. Some people can get frightened or nervous and anxious. meanwhile some people very much enjoy the compliment. I respectfully stand on the side of I don't understand how some people find someone complimentingyou rude.Lets us just agree to disagree and drop the whole thing and in the future try not to attack someones comment. everyone just wants to share things without being attacked so please try not too. i don't mean to make anyone a bad guy, I'm just saying please be more careful in the future.

Nora is my favorite, and Yang ,love her, I really love all of them. Oscar is little baby Avocado eye's and I just want him to be happy. I love Qrow I just, he makes me sad. Penny is amazing.
I had a bunch of ships at one point but now I just don't know who to ship, Well Arcos duh Cries I still can't believe they gave us the ship and ripped it away.
