Are you making fun of how I role-play? How rude. Also I am 4'11 Irl and I don't care…..never mind I do.. I DON'T LIKE BEING CALLED SHORT

@ElderGod-Winter-The-Renegade-Legionnaire book

Uh uh. We are not gonna start drama in this thread, I will stop it before it even starts. Did they make fun of how you rp'ed? No. they just thought it was weird and odd. It's okay to have differing opinions. Not everything anyone says should be taken personally. And no one cares your height. You're online. It's digital and irrelevant.

I just find it odd. Not making fun of it. I'm simply a little curious about it. If you don't like being called short then why did you conciously decide to make rp you 3 ft tall

@PastelTart

Has anyone heard or seen anything about the new Spiderwick Chronicles TV series? Apparently, it's supposed to start on April 19th on the Roku streaming service…

Really? I never read the books, but I watched the movie and it was pretty good. Maybe I should try and find the books at some point.

Don't mind me, crying over a breakup still, exactly 3 weeks later
I hadn't cried all week.

Eh, not necessarily. Just because there already has been a movie adaptation, doesn't mean that a show adaption is going to be a disappointment. In fact, there's always the possibility that it could be just as good as the movie, or even better. Not the books, though. Very rarely are the adaptations better than the actual books.

I agree, perfect example would be Percy Jackson. Everyone in the fandom hated the movies. And although I have not seen the show, it can't be less accurate than the movies were.

Also, I think Maze runner movies were better just because it felt to me like there were to much going on in the books.

to be honest, the bar was set so low with the pjo movies, that anything the show churned out was million of times way better than those movies. of course, that's not to say the show doesn't have any flaws, but of course any adaptation of existing media will always have flaws.

Example: the Percy Jackson tv show

(whoops you guys already said that)

The movies were great. By themselves…if they had no relation to the book. (I watched them first). So if someone had not read the books, yeah decent movies.

HOWEVER

Upon reading the books its like .. wtf were the movie makers doing??? they changed sooo much…and why is Grover not a curly haired ginger with freckles?

lmao you're incorrect there buddy
the art (not even official) was the one that described him as a curly ginger guy with freckles
but the book depicts him having curly brown hair

In my defense, it's been a few years.
