Hey everyone, my students tried this and it's always interesting to see the outcome! What happens is, you have to have to write a sentence to add on to the one above. BUT THERE IS A CATCH. Your sentence must start with the last letter of the line above yours.
Example:
This sentence is an example,
Every time I write, I express
Save me some bacon mom,
More is never less.
You can just write one or two lines, just try to follow the rules and have fun!
Beginning: "This poem was set to challange me,"
Engaging my sense of creativity,
Yearning me to write more words
Spelling them out, however absurd,
Drumming my fingers as to a dirge.
Each second passes by on the clock
Keeping time with my beating heart
Though its very hard, this test i'll outsmart
I stare at the paper, filled with creative arts
So many wonders that this paper could create
Everything from what we love, to what we can dream
Making dreams turn into realities
Stories for us to share with anyone who care to listen
Not that my stories are much good
Dusty books on my shelf hold more value
Every one takes me to someplace new
Wonders can be found there when they can't be here
Everyone dreams of these places
Some, they create them
Mostly made of clouds and brain fluff
Forgotten memories and fanciful stuff
Full of happiness and fun
Never falling to the ground
Down is up sometimes in our imagination
Never expect the unexpected
Dither not
Turn over leaves
Search through the basket
Take the one that calls you
Unique experiences for all
I'm the one that takes the call
Lessons learned and legends told
Daring to dream and being bold
Deathly quiet
Trumpets blare
Eloquent ribbons
Stream through the air
Rhyming Couplets
Soaking in brine
(What?? That makes no sense XD)
Everyone is happy
Yet, something's missing
Grandma appears
Stroking a pineapple
we interrupt this beautiful poem with Emma laughing to tears at the above comment
Sorry @Masterkey, I couldn't resist
(^ I like you both haha!)
