Hey, I have a sense that you are being condescending if that sense is wrong, then, by all means, I'm sorry.
However, if you are being rude, please leave and find a chat better suited to you.

This is a fascinating conversation.

And your contribution is riveting.

@RedTheLoveless

Well with that fascinating display over with, I return with a question. I won't get into exactly how, but I seem to have attracted an unreadable entity. I cannot see it or hear it, but I can sense/feel it, like most things of its nature. It seems to like being directly behind me, and likes peering over my shoulders. It claimed to be the Greek God Pan, which made sense for the situation, but I asked my Crow Tarot after the incident. It is not Pan.

Things I have also learned about it from my cards:

  • It is not a demon.
  • It is not fae.
  • It really, really, really likes money (specifically coins), wealth, finances, investments, and the like.
  • It is not looking for something permanent, just a temporary, enjoyable arrangement, perhaps a deal.
  • I must be cautious with this entity, as it can turn into a very aggressive bully.

Good advice, personal knowledge, an extra person researching, anything of the like would be appreciated and helpful. Thank you.

a trickster perhaps. since its not a demon maybe its just a spirit, money-hungry in life as well as death ?
did you know someone like that during your lifetime. maybe its them ?
i dont know if I'm helping :/

@RedTheLoveless

Oh I know someone very money-hungry, but as far as my knowledge goes, he's still alive. Definitely could've been a stray spirit that followed me inside. I have no knowledge of tricksters please enlighten me.

In mythology, and in the study of folklore and religion, a trickster is a character (god, goddess, spirit, human, or anthropomorphisation), which exhibits a great degree of intellect or secret knowledge, and uses it to play tricks or otherwise disobey normal rules and conventional behaviour.

@The-Magician group

I’m glad that character didn’t cause much trouble for any of you.. I’ve just read through what I missed and all I’m thinking is “What in Hephaestus’ name is their deal?”

@croccin-champagne

that would probably depend on where you put them. when putting out offering for the fae, especially food type offerings, you have to keep in mind the possibilities of other animals getting ahold of them first. which, in a lot of cases, could be very bad for the animals

check for xylitol and other artificial flavors and sweeteners that aren't good for animals first

Deleted user

Yeah, I thought so, instead of gummy bears I'll make them cookies or something.

Deleted user

Yeah, no chocolate.
probably a nice loaf or something.
I set up my altar accidentally next to a tree that's about to be cut down and I feel really bad

Forget to cleanse? Never! Cleansed the inhabitants of the entire house in the process

Pro Tip– candle light works too! Just make sure to use an unscented single color candle.

May I be so bold as to ask to whom you were making an offering, and what you offered?
