Hope you guys had a good Eostre.
:)

Didn't forget to cleanse theyselves didja?

Forget to cleanse? Never! Cleansed the inhabitants of the entire house in the process

yas that's what this druid loves to hear

The entire week prior I hadn’t touched any alcohol so my mind was looking for things to do, and thought “what have I got to lose by cleansing everyone?” 🤷🏻

hello. i would like to know how i can tell my offerings were accepted because i just started working with deities and i just dont know eek-

May I be so bold as to ask to whom you were making an offering, and what you offered?

artemis: almonds
athena: olive oil
hermes: chocolate

i honestly have no idea if that's okay or not so…

Used some cleansing spray since I haven't been able to get anything for a smudge stick

Pro Tip– candle light works too! Just make sure to use an unscented single color candle.

Like, just having a candle near you?

@RedTheLoveless

Since I'm not allowed to "cleanse" the space I'm currently inhabiting (my grandmother has a fear of fire so… yeah) I just kinda cleansed my soul and of course my crystals? I don't know how to put it, but I entered a state of mind of which I came out feeling refreshed, revitalized, rejuvenated? Like the built up burdens of the past month melted away?

@The-Magician group

@philosophicalmess Good to know please tell me you researched what the gods like… As for how you know they have been accepted, I’m not sure if there is any other way than you just know.
I’m not the best person to ask as I’ve always just known I guess. Things just seemed to go the right direction after making an offering..

Kinda the same idea as a smudge stick (be careful because obviously–open flame)
Light your candle
meditate with your intent clear in your mind
move the candle around yourself and imagine it burning away the negative energies, the warm light of the flame giving live to your aura. you can cup your hand towards yourself (light your scooping up the light) and waft it towards you if that helps the visualization.
when youre done with your body dont forget the floor on which you stand and the top of your head these are your entry points.
mediate some more.
thank your deity(ies)
blow out the candle

feel like a million bucks

meditation is a great way to cleanse in a pinch.
Red have you ever looked in to reiki?

With the experiences you have and the obviously strong connection to your energies I would recommend looking into it.

I can PM you a pic of my beginners book if you're interested.

It's a form of energy healing. There's lots of crystal work and meditation involved.

Generally masters use it to heal others, but it all starts with the healing of the self. If you're interesting in Chakras and universal energies. Kinda like a massage for the soul.

So guys I know I've been dead. But recently I've had a lot of signs showing up. Crows mostly, a need to dress in mostly reds and greens, foxes showing up in my back yard so I did a little research and some spell work and now I'm under Loki's care and guidance.

Question for y'alls…. What can be found in a occult shop? I need to add to the following snippet from a new wip….

One of my favorite things I used to do to amuse myself was to go into occult stores. I would often silently laugh at items such as tarot cards, ouija boards, and those silly little energy/aura crystals.

The town that I live in only had one occult shop, Arcane Academy. The shop itself was nice, split up into different sections that made it easier for customers to navigate. At the far end was an apothecary, supplied with things such as burdock root, wolfsbane, and mandrake.

@croccin-champagne

literally just. more herbs. crystals and rocks. shit ton of candles and incense sticks, often jewelry using those crystals and bags and things made by local witches to support local businesses. at least, those are things I used to find in the tiny little shop near my old home

Tools such as athame knives, wands (both wooden and crystal), cauldrons, offering goblets, pentagram seals for altars, sabbath calendars, star charts, pendulums and other scrying stones, incense & burners, ceremonial matches/lighters, statues representing gods/goddesses, etc.

Books on all kinds of spiritual magics and paths, tarot cards, oracle cards, essential oils, chakra stones, lucky coins, worry stones, herbs of all kinds.

I mean the list goes on.

But I should mention that this stuff isn't silly… it represents a religion that its near and dear to many hearts. I wouldn't misrepresent it so lightly.

shrug

just a word of advice.

Just gonna clear up that the character/ narrator thinks that the energy/aura crystals are silly; that's their belief (this will change as the story continues), not mine…. I'll make sure to include an author's note though!

Thanks!!!!!

I'm happy. I used really clear creek water that I had meditated with and asked the Gods to help me purify to purify two of my ports and the doors in my room then I used it on my third eye by making a plus-like sign where the chakra is and a line over my eyes. My sister also got me a chain with metal moon phases on it.

Are there any deities that show themselves through bunnies, old friends, and/or scars?

@The-Magician group

Bunnies - Eostre (Anglo-Saxon), Wenenut (Egyptian), and possibly Freya??? I’m not too sure about Freya though.

Old friends - Philotes (Minor, Greek)

As for scars I’m not sure
