I have a question that was sparked by something Reed said the other day.
Does anyone else work with any deities, and if so then who?

Dinoysuis and the local Fae (not a deity, but who I work with so shrug)
(I still can't spell his name correctly, I'm so sorry.)

I'm a bit of a Christian witch, so I stay in the bounds of the Christian god, but I have theories about other deities in my personal belief. I do believe in nature spirits/fae and ghosts too though.

I’ve kind of been lurking in the background of this chat because I’m still trying to figure things out but I was wondering if there’s anyone here who doesn’t necessarily believe in gods.
You see, my stance on that is kind of loose. I feel like they could exist but I don’t think I can ever be sure. However, I do think there’s a sort of spirit in everything, if that makes any sense.

I mean, I guess I think it depends on why you want/need a witch name.

Would a witch name be considered like, how picking a new name to identify by would be?

Not…. exactly…? I really don't know how to explain it, um…

I've never thought about/researched so I don't think I can be of much help.

Taking on a witch name is kinda like naming the persona/energy within.
You dont necessarily shed your outward life, but it is the name/being you take on while performing and/or conversing with other practitioners.

Ooh, that explains why they used it when speaking with me and not in the group chat. Makes sense. How do you know for sure what your witch name is? Will it just feel right or is there something else to look for?

mmmmm– I would go with what feels right, but also something that honors your patron god/goddess.

I dont personally have one, but other members of my circle do.

I wouldn't rely on social media for guidance into the craft

It takes patience and learning which is kinda fun

Is it bad that i've been practicing for almost a year but I'm still afraid to do more then a money spell, my cards, and setting out offerings?

If it doesn't feel right for you to do more than that right now, don't. Go with your comfort level.
