It feels really hot in here

I can't take a shower or go outside, it's 2 am and I live with my parents
My cat is cuddling with me tho so I'm improving somewhat

that's good! I hope everything gets better, my bf was just dealing with something similar and it really sucks to watch, I can only imagine how much it sucks to go through

Yup. Not a serious fan. But enough that I know about the Maiar and Valar and read some of the tale of Beren and Luthien.

There should be different levels of italics. Like this is too harsh for some things. Sometimes I want like, half of that slant, just the right amount to get my point across.

But even though I know he's an asshole, his opinion still means a lot to me for some reason and it really does hurt when he insults my art or anything else I care about
I can try to tell him to stop being a bitch the next time he does it, but honestly, he'll probably think I'm joking or he won't care

Tell him straight up that he's being hurtful. If you get that point across he might take a chill pill and rethink some stuff. I sometimes act like him, but if someone told me I was being hurtful I'd probably step back.

I can try, but again, I'm not sure it'll help. Knowing me, I'll get snappy and he'll tell me to chill

Unfortunately, no. I haven't gotten my hands on a copy yet, but I practically inhaled (or the reading equivalent) Perilous Realm.
