I am a serious runner and I lift weights in the gym.
Good job man!!!
I myself do weightlifting, running, calisthenics, swimming, climbing and functional strength training.
I also do boxing and wrestling with my friends in a very unprofessional, but very intense manner. Currently I've also started learning the basics of kung fu, and in exchange I'm teaching the basics of both boxing and wrestling. It's pretty lit.
Also. I have to cite my inspiration as Dragon Ball Z for sure.
I do Tajitsu, a type of martial arts, as well.
I used to, and I was very happy with myself because having a more muscular body sort of made my gender dysphoria a bit better/easier to deal with. But then my anxiety started getting really bad and I started having weird muscle spasms in my neck, which caused really bad inflammation and pain, so I had to stop working out for a while until I could figure out what it was (I didn't know why it was hurting) and I lost all of my muscle. I started working out again but I'm super weak now.
That sucks, wow. Did you take rest days?
Yeah, I don't want to pull a muscle. But my mind never gets any rest lol
The Fitness Gods must haste you. My apologies.
Lol it's all good. My neck is healing so I can start lifting weights again, but it'll take a while to get back to where I used to be.
That's good.
Yee yee
Yeah.
I'm aware of Taijutsu. It's pretty cool.
I used to do Brazilian Jiu Jitsu :D
That's cool, as I said, I do boxing, wrestling, and Baji Quash Kung Fu.
My friend know a type of kung fu that translates to something like "Black Tiger" but he's not too good at it.
That's freaking awesome. I did wrestling for a time at school, but the neck thing popped up and now the season is over so I have to wait until next year lol.
Oh. That sucks.
It's okay! I'm getting better like I said, so things will be better soon :D
Good for you.
Yeah, my girlfriend and I are self-improvement people. My usual workout consists of 100+ pushups, 30+ tricerp dips, 4+ laps around the block, moderate amounts of functional training, sparring, and positions like pushup plank, abdominal plank, wallsit, and 2-minute punches. All weighted.
(If you're wondering what two minute punches are, flex your arm as hard as possible, and punch, you should finish fully extending your arm at 2 minutes.)
Like I said… I'm a serious runner. Last summer, I logged the amount of miles I ran and it was 150+!
150 in what time period? A week?
2 months. 150+ miles
It was pretty hard because I always have such a busy summer.
