You aren’t wrong.
Both instruments have God’s, but flutes are superior.

@Pickles group

Also my clarinet friendo went up a lot and he's second chair now. now he can challenge and take down the dictatorship because the freshman that's first chair is rotten. I love her but she's stuck up and a bad leader

@Pickles group

First the clarinets then the Trumpets…. Ok no that's not possible

We're partly there. Some of them are scared of us. Onto the rest and then getting them to admit it

All the freshman in my section are pretty friendly and laid back, all of them are pretty nice.

@Pickles group

There's only one freshman in the whole school that I genuinely like. Some of them are tolerable and can be fun sometimes but the rest… They keep getting worse

And just so you know, reeds are the most annoying things. They’re fragile and small, you can’t make any sound without them, when the chip you have to give them up, A BOX IS SUPER FLIPPING EXPENSIVE, and like every year you need to switch sizes. I’m already at 3 1/2 and it’s so thick that to get used to it you gotta kill your lungs.

@Pickles group

When my parents got my clarinet last year, it came with a box of super old 3 1/2, and I died trying to make a sound. Now I have a 1 1/2 and I've given up trying to learn. Still can barely make a sound

@ElderGod-Winter-The-Renegade-Legionnaire book

I have a special flute it's like 4 inches longer, and has 2 extra keys. I can go all the way up to a third octave E flat, and first octave, below that already really low C, to A flat. It adds like 4 extra notes.

SPutters You have a B flat Foot joint! I want one so badly, does it make the upper register more difficult to hit?

Nah. It makes alternate fingerings easier, and the higher octave comes out a little bit easier, but it's still rough.
