"Uh… humans? Brie, it isn't wise for me to go to any humanian era, just-" Brie shushed him. "Go on! It'll be fun! You probably won't die. And besides, what would your boyfriends think if they knew you were wimping out on an adventure like this?!" she asked.
The barkeeper smiled at Brie. "She gets it. We'll be under the hunter radar so don't worry about humans trying to murder everything."
"Well, when you both put it like that… I would enjoy a vacation from saving the universe." Eris said. "That's my sneaky serpentine sidekick! Now go on and murder the shit out of something." Brie said encouragingly.
Calix looks around a bit more. "I'll be back soon." He said then walked out, though he came back quite soon with a girl whose hair was a black and eyes were a gray color they both sat down.
“Hey newbie, I wish we had some time to talk but some of us are about to head out.”
They bit nodded. "Have fun." Calix said
"So, shall we go then? Also can Brie come? She's my emotional support human." Eris said.
"Of course." The Barkeep snapped and they flickered out of the tavern.

Eris and Brie reappeared, the snake man bleeding out orange-gold blood onto the floor from his shoulder. "Get some bandages." Brie ordered.
The spot where Barkeep usually stood started to glow absently. After a minute she piped back into existence covered in fairy dust. “I hate fairy travel. It’s so not worth the mess,” she said kicking the glowy powder under the bar. “I’m back after some recovery. I really hope someone has a story for me.”
Hinata had disappeared. She had gone back home with mutters of a new job.
“Kids these days and their disappearing powers.” Barkeeper sighed. “How is it that not a single person wants to get blackout drunk? You guys used to love bar fights.”
The door to the bar opened quietly, and a man stepped in. He wrapped his dark half length cloak around him, yellow eye shining. Bandages covered his right eye. He looked around, settling into a seat in the back.
“All you adventurers are so shy.” Barkeep walked around the bar up to the newcomer. “Hey buddy. You look like you need a drink.”
He nodded.
"Something strong. I plan on getting wasted."
Calix looked over "don't get wasted. I've seen someone who was affected by alcohol do it. They were not pleasant in the morning… They set a bus stop on fire."
Barkeep looked at Calix then back at the newcomer. “Please do set a bus stop on fire. That would be entertaining.”
The man let out a curt laugh.
"Sounds like something my wife would do."
"it was entertaining to watch. Makes immortal life interesting. I am often roped into arson."
“Yeah, I had an arson period but I got over it. Ever heard of the Great Chicago Fire?” She hopped back to the bar and poured herself a drink. Her form flickered and the patrons perspective flipped as her form changed into a young man with almond skin and grey eyes.
The man blinked a few times, then brushed it off. Form changes was nothing he wasn't used to.
“I’ll repeat once more, anything to drink?” Barkeeper finished his drink and started pouring a new one.
"Fire Water would be nice." The man crossed his arms.
“Yeah, sure.” Barkeep poured his drink and handed it to him. “Do you have a name or should I keep calling you buddy?”
