Scarlet smirked and started walking leading the group.
Scarlet smirked and started walking leading the group.
Avar shuddered at the thought of her soul being trapped in a lantern, and kept walking, her eyes peeled.
Aubrey stayed silent and walked towards the back of the group.
(Anyone?)

"We must hurry," Scarlet said walking faster into the forest not looking back at the group.
"Why? How do you know so much?" Aubrey asks antsyly.
"I just do," Scarlet said obviously getting a little heated. She covered her legs and glanced over into the darkness where she could here a stick snap.
Avar hurried after Scarlet, her bright blue hair streaked with dirt from when she fell.
"Everyone be super quiet," Scarlet whispered pulling the group into a bush.
Anita followed behind the group on her tiptoes, keeping a lookout in case something tried to get them from behind.
A tall figure emerged from the trees. "Has there been anyone over the wall? Did you convince anyone to come to this side?" The figure asked Scarlet. Scarlet bit her lip. "No sir, no people here," she said. "Are you sure?" The figure asked her smugly. "Absolutely sure 100% sure," She said nervously. "Well if there is anybody to cross over bring them to me, and don't even try to set them free. They will just end up like you," The figure taunted. "Ok, sir," Scarlet mumbled in shame. "Good girl, now continue your patrol," The figure said before disappearing into the trees. Once he was gone Scarlet helped the group out of the bushes.
Anita frowned. "Who was that man?"
"Someone you don't want to meet," Scarlet said walking along the path. "We got to continue,"
"I don't trust her." Aubrey whispers to Avar.
"Please do," Scarlet demanded quietly. "Or you will turn out like me," Scarlet said tearing up.
"Why does that figure guy want us on this side of the wall?" Aubrey asks in a demanding tone.
"Humans fuel him," Scarlet explains.
"That's not creepy at all." She mutters.
"Ya ya, I know, just I don't want someone else to lose everything," Scarlet said continuing to walk. "Just like I did," She said quietly.
"Jesus, we get it." Aubrey mutters.
"SORRY I DON'T WANT YOU TO DIE!" Scarlet yelled before covering her mouth and turning around to continue walking.
Wow, that outburst just came from nowhere. Must be a sensitive topic. Anita stored that information into her brain. When the right moment came, Scarlet would tell them.
"I'm sorry for yelling. Let's get out of the forest," Scarlet said walking along the path.
Aubrey follows begrudgingly.
Scarlet lead them to a clearing. She walked along the path to a small village. Then it started to drizzle. "Great we need to find a place to get out of the rain," She said putting her hood up.
