When Ahlura arrived at the meeting, she sat down cross-legged in her chair without a word. She then entwined her hands and closed her eyes, meditating as she waited for the meeting to begin.
In the back of her mind, something still nagged at her. Something was wrong, but what? No one sounded particularly upset.

(You're the only one not at the meeting, Jacen.)
(Oh- uh i didn’t know it had started)
(it hasn't started but i think all the other characters are there)
(So can I just have my character walk into the meeting?)
(Ok)
Syfin walked into the meeting. Not paying attention to anyone or anything.
Necrolai raised an eyebrow and angled her head towards Arkturus' ear. "So, when is this thing supposed to start?"
"It can start now," Coral said, interrupting her father, "we just had to wait for everyone to be here."
Ahlura came out of her meditation and looked around, nodding in satisfaction that everyone was there. She stifled her feelings and fears, waiting for the others to speak.
Necrolai glanced around the room as she waited for someone to start, not wanting to speak up and risk getting kicked out.

Arkturus whispered back. “Now.”
He turned his attention to the others in the hall.
“Welcome, everyone. We need to address the elephant in the room. The humans are causing tensions across all of Shōrai. Something has to be done.”
"I don't see an ele- oh…thats an expression" Syfin said, before looking at the floor and deciding to shut up.
Necrolai listened to her father figure and raised her eyebrow in interest. She tried to gauge the reactions of the royals in the room, curious.
Coral put on a "no duh" face and began talking. "I agree," she said, "does anyone have any ideas to abolish this problem?"
Necrolai scoffed in good humor, "Other than anything that would result in the humans' extinction? Not off the top of my head, no." She said sarcastically. Then, adopting a more serious attitude, "Is this what this meeting is about? Some humans giving us trouble? Or is there something more pressing about the situation?"

"Trouble is just a term to put it lightly," Coral told Necrolai, "we believe they are starting a riot or possibly a war. There have been some unfortunate fatalities in the last few years that have gone unacknowledged. It's not just a few, it's most of them, if not all of them."
