"do I?" he raised an eyebrow, "I'm perfectly capable of keeping myself warm."

"Then why don't you?" She asked, wrapping the cloak around herself again "You have the ability to warm yourself yet you refuse to do so." she shook her head and laughed

"a handheld fire isn't always the most efficient." he sighed. he tugged his cloak closer to his body and muttered a few words. the fabric heated up slightly, "and this doesn't last very long"

She rolled her eyes and pulled off the cloak. Standing with some effort, she draped it over his shoulders before sitting back down in her spot

He sighed, but kept it on. He supposed he should appreciate the gesture, ".. Thanks"

She nodded her head once before looking off to the sunset, washing the city below in a golden light

He got up, picking up his bag, "I should get back. Night patrols don't take lightly to me being out in the dark"

She looked over at him, staying silent for a moment before nodding and gazing back over to the city. “You can keep the cloak.”

"thanks.." he sighed, "and-.. This isn't an offer I usually make, but if you need shelter then.. My cabin isnt too far from here, and my door is open. Metaphorically. You still have to knock."

SHe gave him a faint smile. "Thank you, but I don't want to put you in any more danger with the royal court than this. Despite your attitude sometimes, I can't deny you've been a great help to me. I only hope to return the favor some day."

He nodded as he fastened her cloak over his. He wished her goodnight before he walked away, heading back to his cabin. He strengthened the spell in his fireplace and hung up the two cloaks and his satchel by the door.
