"This ain't no act, hon." Rin smirked. "You got something for me to bite down on?"

Dabria nodded. "People get pretty messy. One time, a while ago, one of Kai's personal guard dislocated a shoulder. He was an absolute mess. Worse, we were on a hunting trip and didn't plan to return for a few more days, and we weren't about to sent part of our small party with him back to the castle, so we had to stay with the blubbering fool for what felt like a millennium." In response to Rin's question, Dabria removed one of her two belts and offered it to the thief. "Suit yourself."

Cassidy shook her head. "I got nothing unless you want to taste old leather strap. Dabria?"

"You are quite amazing, your highness." Rin winked as she took the belt, biting down on it and looking at Cassidy. "Do your thing."

Cassidy took hold of Rin's arm as gently as she could, checking to make sure she was holding it right. She took a deep breath. "This is gonna hurt like hell," she warned. "Three, two." On two, knowing that doing it on one would cause Rin to tense up, she jerked Rin's arm and her shoulder popped back into place.

Rin bit down hard, face paling as she let out nothing but a small and muffled noise of pain.

Dabria rolled her eyes in response to Rin's wink and watched at Cassidy skillfully popped the shoulder back into place. "How do you know how to do that so well?"

Cassidy winced a bit herself. "told ya," she said apologetically. She grabbed the sackcloth and ripped it longwise, tying Rin's arm into a makeshift cast. She looked up at Dabria. "I worked in a tavern, and there were bar fights at least once a week," she explained. "I charged a few coins to fix the men up so their wives wouldn't find out. They did anyway, cause I told them, and I made some coin. I never liked a man who would lie to his wife."

Dabria grinned. "I like your style. Also, sorry about the bar again. Where the prince goes, disaster is sure to follow. Once we can get the kingdom back I promise we'll compensate you."

"Impressive." Rin spat out the belt, rocking back and forth slightly as she tried to mentally ease the pain. "You guys destroy her tavern or somethin'?"

Dabria plucked up the belt and wiped it with her skirt as she said, "Yes, that's exactly what happened."

Cassidy sighed in annoyance. "Something like that. The prince came to my door being chased by demonic wolves or something, and like an idiot, I let him in. Soldiers were at the door in minutes, and I made the decision to let the prince go instead of turning him over. The soldiers didn't believe my cover, and so they burned my tavern to the ground, with me in it. I barely made it out., and now everyone thinks I'm dead. I went after His Royal Highness with revenge in mind, but Dabria found me first and then found Kai before I did. Probably a good thing since I was armed."

"Thanks for not turning him in, that would've sucked. I'm sure you hate him right now, but if you give him time he turns out to be a pretty great guy. When I first met him I hated him. Then again, I was an angry child who hated everyone, especially my parents, because they didn't have time for me with their busy schedule of fussing about my sister, and they thought sending me off to another kingdom was a better option than putting me in the care of a nanny. But I'm sure you've heard something about that, it was a big bit of gossip years ago," Dabria rambled.

Cassidy laughed, something she hadn't done in a long time. "Well, I honestly can't say I haven't heard, after all, I worked in a tavern. But you would not believe some of the crazy stuff I've heard from working there, so it's hard to distinguish rumor from fact."

Dabria smiled. "I've been in my fair share of bars and I've heard the craziest things, I can't even imagine working at one. Did you know, according to a man I met with fish stuck in his beard, Queen Chimere, my sister, takes every man she meets to bed in an attempt to impregnate herself because she's extremely unfertile and hasn't been able to have any children with her husband, King Jeffery?" She chuckled. "And you want to know the best part? Chimere isn't married. And hasn't seen anyone ever."

It's 12:40 AM where I am so yeah I should get to sleep too.))

"Ah, gossip. You always hear about it being a woman's thing, but anyone who's met any drunk man ever can tell you otherwise." Rin said, chuckling.
