Cassidy heard Rin follow her down the tunnel, and so she slowed down a bit. The light was dim, with only small cracks from far above providing light, and though she knew these caves like the back of her hand from when she was younger, she didn't want Rin injuring herself by tripping on an outcropping or a boulder. After a few minutes, they reached a small cavern a bit smaller than the main interior of her tavern. "Here we are," she said. "Now if I could just find it…" she crossed the cave and began feeling along the wall.
"Find what?" Rin asked, moving easily through the cavern as she looked around. She felt the smallest bit trapped, but she couldn't exactly afford to be too picky right now. Tyche stuck near the woman who had led her down here, a bit curiously.
Cassidy bent down in the dark near the far side of the cave, reaching out and feeling her way along the wall. "I left some supplies here when I was a kid. I used to hide out here, from my….." Her hand went into the stone wall as her hand passed a shelf-like indent in the rock. "Found it!" She reached in eagerly, and ignoring the spider webs, and pulled out a large bundle wrapped in sackcloth. She sat down, making sure to avoid sitting on the cat, and dumped the contents onto the floor. Feeling around, she quickly built up a small pyramid shape with the materials and pushed the other stuff from the sackcloth to the side. She took the flint from her pocket and struck it a few times. It took a minute, but soon a flame burst into the small pile, illuminating the whole cavern. "Got it!" she said triumphantly.
Rin looked startled by the sudden light, and had to blink to adjust her eyes to it. The dark is so much better. "Hiding from who? That's a lot of supplies." She made her way over and crouched, an odd distance from the flames.
Cassidy shrugged. "My mom. She used to get mad at me for not doing what I was supposed to, like not working hard enough, or not cleaning her stuff good, and well… her mad involved throwing things." She turned back to the supplies in a pile. "My cousin gave me the kindling," she said, nodding to the flames. "They're enchanted mushrooms. They'll burn pretty much indefinitely so long as they don't get wet. They don't give off smoke either."
Dabria followed behind the thief into the cave and crouched beside the fire. She gave a small hum in response to Cassidy's story about her mom. "Hey," She said. "I think it's a great time to actually sit and talk about who we are and what we're all doing here. And all the boys can go tie the horses up while we talk. We can start with our names." The princess looked at the woman sitting a strange distance from the fire.
((Aaaaa. It happens, let me just
Rin grinned up at the woman with the swords. "Call me Rin. How 'bout a name from you, gorgeous?" Here's to hoping she doesn't decide to kill me right here and now, heh.
Cassidy rolled her eyes, a smile taking over her face as she leaned back on the cave wall. I like her already, Cassidy thought to herself. Very open and fun. This'll make for an interesting night.
(Does Rin play for the other team or am I just picking up on something not there?)
((She plays for all the teams. If you're hot, she's into you. Definitely does have a slight tendency towards women more though.
(Just checking, I'm loving her character btw)
Dabria leaned forward and propped her chin on her palm, a smile pulling at the corners of her mouth. "My full title would be Princess Dabria Ilaria Eira of Hiyaup, but most people just call me Dabria or your highness or something like that. The reason I am here is because my best friend, Kai, has a brother who is trying to kill him in order to become King of Lealio, so he ran away from the castle, and I followed him with a few knights."
Dabria's initials are DIE and that is very intentional))
Rin squinted at her for a second, studying her, before nodding. "Checks out. Y'all got yourselves in one hell of a mess, huh?" Wow okay, hitting on a princess is one hell of a twist.
Cassidy gave a little cough to remind the other two she was still in the cave. "Right, well, can we get a little context on why you're here Rin? Context for context?"
((I LOVE HER SO MUCH
I LOVE RIN SERIOUSLY))
(She is freaking AWESOME and so is Dabria guys this is great)

I love Cassidy too. I love all the girls))
"Oh, yeah!" Rin snickered, fully sitting down and wincing as the movement jostle her arm. "Well, it's nowhere near as heroic as yours, quite the opposite." She tossed the sack over to the woman. "That's why. I'm a thief, basically. And before you stab me or whatever, just know that I don't plan on robbing you blind. I'm just hiding out until I can find my way, well, away."
Dabria smirked. "You wouldn't be able to rob us successfully anyway." She looked at Rin's arm, which she had lied about earlier. "What's wrong with your arm?"
Cassidy sat straight up. "Oh yeah! I'm sorry Rin, let me see." She moved over so that she was kneeling next to Rin. "Is it okay if I….?"
"You haven't seen me in action. And it's not that big a deal, my shoulder was just dislocated." Rin shrugged her good shoulder, as though it really wasn't that big of a deal. "Go ahead, I guess."
Cassidy rolled her eyes. "Stop the tough girl act, I've seen grown men brought to tears cause of a dislocated shoulder. I know how to fix it if you're alright with that."
