Kai came home and X started barking "ok, ok you win." He laughed scratching his head. "Dad I'm home!" He yelled, walking into the kitchen

"Hey," his dad breathed, exhaling a huff. "How do you talk to him?" He opened the utensils drawer, then spoke to Sean, "What do you want?"

Sean was smiling a little bit.

Hm.. do you think Russel is a good dad name?)

(How about Ricky?)

Kai laughed "he liked spoons."

Ehh, sounds too motorcycle-grandpa-esque )

"…Spoons?" His father squinted.

(Hmmm Jerry?)

"Spoons." Kai nodded

Richie?
XD I feel like I should apologize for being so picky w/ names )

He picked up a spoon and showed it to Sean, seeming deeply humored when the boy's face lit up.

(Richie works lol)

Kai laughed at his fathers expression and walked over "what's for lunch?

"I can make soup," Richard replied. People always called Kai's father Richie, though. He set the spoon before Sean, who picked it up and began rubbing his cheek on the smooth surface.

"Sure, want me to get some fresh veggies?" He asked, staring at Sean

"Yes." His father answered slowly, watching the peculiar boy.

"Sean, do you want to help me?" He asked

Sean peered up, and nodded a little. He tucked the spoon into the pocket of his torn pants.

"…we need to get you some proper clothes " he mumbled and went upstairs. Coming back down with a white tshirt and a pair of overalls "these are the smallest things I could find. They should fit you." He said

Sean peered down at the clothes, and quietly acquiesced. He didn't want to, but.. he supposed there was no loss in doing so.

"Once you get changed, follow me out to the crops. We need to being back some vegetables." He grinned

Sean started to change right there in the kitchen.

"Woah bucko," Kai's father tried not to laugh. He put a hand on Sean's back to lead him to the bathroom to change.

Kai snickered and waited until his father reappeared

Richie wandered back in, "I might call the police department today," he spoke quietly. "See if he's been missing…"

"That may be a good idea. But he said his mother did this to him, aee you sure?" Kai asked

"Then I'll call CPS," his father replied, giving his head a scratch.

"Sure, you do that and I'll try to get him to explain a bit more." Kai smiled

(Sorry for disappearing!! I felt sick mentally. I may disappear again for the same reason)

His father nodded in agreement.
