( LMAO So nice aren't you)
(Damian is charming, but he isn’t nice.)
(Lol so much for trust…)
(All I can say is that Damian is fully aware of the repercussions that follow any action he takes)
((aaaaa i'm back, my internet decided to go out for three fucking hours, and then i had therapy
Catori had stayed silent, ready to step in if things escalated. She was rather glad they hadn't though, and shook her head with a slightly weary smile. "One way to put it."
“Fletcher could very well become a threat.” Damian stared at the weapon, as if it might reveal some answers to him. “I’ll have to monitor him. Make a move in case he gets too strong.” He whispered softly, suspicious that Fletcher might still be lurking close by.
((Glad you’re back!))
((i will have to disappear again later tho
Catori nodded. "Don't make any without cause, Damian. Be careful." Asterin made his way over and nudged her, and she pulled a sugar cube from her belt.
“It’s strange. I always dreamed of eliminating my brothers land now… now it’s a necessity.” Damian shook his head to clear it. “I’m sorry you had to witness this.”
"You have an extremely bad relationship with your brothers. I'd suggest attempting to remedy that, but.." She made a face, but didn't seem to concerned about much.
“There is nothing left to remedy. I’d sell them out if the opportunity presented itself. They’d do the same to me.” Damian ran his hand through his hair and kneeled down to the ground, using his powers to heal the withered grass.
"That's not a good thing." Catori stated, watching him heal the grass with interest, and slight awe.
“I am… aware of this. I was hoping you would not find out lest you think badly of me. But I suppose you already do now, and there is no redeeming it.” Damian stood up, his eyes now accented by dark rings underneath, the strain evident on his face.
"Actually, I don't. Are you alright?" Her voice was laced with worry.
“When I heal I give my own energy away. Today has been busy. I was forced to be social a lot. And be more on guard than usual. I suppose I was already tired.” He explained, steadying himself.
"Do you need a hand? Or perhaps something energizing?" Catori took a step towards him, just in case he fell.
(where is @@gracehustle?)
"From the surface it is a very well established city," Lotus said before continuing quietly, "But I am curious as to what it is like underneath."
"What city did you grow up in?" Pine asked, eyes wandering back up.
"The capital city of Estarre, Lilia," Lotus explained, "I enjoyed sneaking out from the castle to see what the kingdom was really like." It was close enough to the truth even if it was a heavy handed lie.
(Oof I'm here, sry..what are Victor, Ursule and Alexia doing right now? Did I miss something?)
"I knew it." Vic ran back to the stables and returned with the other two horses. "Poe or Graysen?" He offered their reins dramatically.
"Do you need a hand? Or perhaps something energizing?" Catori took a step towards him, just in case he fell.
“Nonsense. It would be foolish to delay any further in case any of my other brothers are following like Fletcher.” Damian insisted, trying to wake himself up a bit. “We should make haste.”
By now, Ursule had drowned out the other peoples talking and was proceeding to be trapped in her own world. I wonder how many fights I'll get into… Whether voluntary or not…
"I knew it." Vic ran back to the stables and returned with the other two horses. "Poe or Graysen?" He offered their reins dramatically.
"Poe," she said, taking their reigns with a smile. She climbed into the saddle like she'd done it a hundred time before and nodded at Victor, "Thanks."
"Damian, could you at least eat these? It's ginkgo, an energizing plant." Catori's voice was soft as she held out a small pouch filled with ginkgo leaves.
“Damian froze, the soft tone of Catori’s voice soothing him a little bit more than he’d like to admit. “I suppose.” He grumbled, taking the small pouch and nibbling uncertainly on a leaf.
She smiled brightly. "Thank you. They've helped me before after a bad night's sleep. Happens more often than I'd like to admit."
