"From the surface it is a very well established city," Lotus said before continuing quietly, "But I am curious as to what it is like underneath."

Catori snorted, doubling over in laughter.

Damian was now staring at Catori, completely baffled. “Did I say something…?”

"You thanked me-" This caused another round of laughter.

“I—“ Damian didn’t know how to recover from this. The pink on his cheeks flushed into a dark red. “I wasn’t sure what the situation warranted.” He admitted.

"It doesn't exactly-" Catori managed to subdue some of the laughter. "-have a set reaction. It varies person to person, but I've never been-" She bit down on her lip, hard. "-thanked."

"it's a pleasure to meet you Kamryn." Kai said smiling. "from what kingdom are you from?"

"I am from (insert kingdom)." She smiled

"Sabre." A voice was heard from below
Fletcher looked down and saw Alexander. He jumped down from the tree after packing his things and asked him what he wanted to ask.

"It doesn't exactly-" Catori managed to subdue some of the laughter. "-have a set reaction. It varies person to person, but I've never been-" She bit down on her lip, hard. "-thanked."

“It’s not that funny.” Damian insisted, his pride a bit injured at the moment. He wasn’t exactly angry, but was more or less flustered.

"Yes, you're right. My apologies." She couldn't look him in the eye, and she was fairly certain she had bitten her lip hard enough to draw blood.

Damian stared at Catori, slightly amused. “Well, finish laughing now before you hurt yourself.” He rolled his eyes, but it was somewhat playful in nature.

Catori attempted to hold it, but gave in to the laughter. It subsided after a few moments, and she shook her head. "I can't believe you."

"Yes Alexander?"
"Your spies have moved in would you like a word with them before you go?"
"No need they know their orders."
"Ok, Then shall we go, we only have half a year."
"Ok"
Fletcher got on his Black Arabian horse who he had called Eclipse and they headed south-west through the woods."
As Fletcher rode through the woods he heard voices. He unsheathed his swords and got of his horse after motioning Alexander to be silent.
He teleported up on a tree and took a look.

Catori attempted to hold it, but gave in to the laughter. It subsided after a few moments, and she shook her head. "I can't believe you."

“How exactly am I unbelievable now?” Damian seemed a bit amused by Catori’s behavior.

"I'm trying to get over the fact that somebody messes with your head, and your go-to reaction is thanking them." She turned to look at him, grinning a bit incredulously.

“I didn’t quite mean it like that.” Damian smiled softly. “I am quite used to being messed with more… violently. But it is clear you meant this to be affectionate.”

"Amuse, don't abuse. That's what the twins used to tell me whenever we would plan to prank our elder brother. It's much funnier if both parties can laugh." Catori said, winking at Damian.

As Fletcher neared he heard the laughter and muttered underneath his breath
"Lovebirds," Fletcher turned back to leave but he suddenly recognised that voice. Fletcher smirked, he grabbed a long stick and threw it at the prince.

“Your family sounds lovely.” Damian complimented. He wasn’t quite sure he believed that siblings could coexist with warring with each other.
