"Hm," It was an interesting question. All Fay knew was the slums and inside the castle gates. Although she would like to get out more and explore. "It rains here quite a bit, but I don't mind it, I actually like the rain quite a bit." It reminded her of her mother. They would go out and dance in the rain whenever they had the chance. "I've always wanted to go to the ports and see the ships," Fay sighed but still kept her composure. "But father won't let me." Ren was interesting, but it was the same as the others, he was here because of her beauty and that was all. Fay just wanted someone to like her for her, but no, she had to convince everyone she was this perfect Princess.

Edgar translated, and Prince Ren decided to respond in english, “Oh, that is too bad,” He accent made the words a bit hard to understand, but they were clear enough. “I know a little bit of english,” He explained quickly, and Edgar translated that.
Maybe I could convince your father to go to the port with me someday,” Ren added, with a small smile. Edgar translated accordingly.

"So, you do speak a bit of English?" Fay was a bit surprised, but it made her happy that he could, it would make things a bit easier. "I have an idea of something to do, other than to just sit here and be bored. But…" Fay looked up to his translator. He would need to leave. Freya was testing the Prince, like she had with the rest of them. Most of them were boring and didn't know how to have fun. They were still kids and it was healthy, although Fay's idea of fun was getting into trouble. A smirked crossed her face, and she leand forward and rested her chin on her hand.

@Dirt

(I'm gonna go with him recognizing her.)

Zero weaved his way though the crowded town streets, casting glances over his shoulder from time to time. He made sure not to bump it to anyone, and not to let anyone bump into him. Dealing with a pickpocket right now wouldn't be ideal, especially considering he didn't have much coin on him to begin with.
Zero saw the hooded figure seconds before running into them. So much for being careful.

Prince Ren glanced at Edgar, catching what Freya was saying. He eyes sparkled a little bit with mischievousness as he spoke to Edgar, “You wouldn’t mind letting me and Princess Freya get to know each other a bit more alone, would you Edgar? My father would be very happy to hear if I’ve gained the princess’s favor.” Edgar stared at him for a moment, pondering whether he would leave the prince alone.
Fine, but please don’t start any petty feuds between Xena and the Southern Isles, Highness,” Edgar told him before sighing and walking back into the palace to leave Ren and Freya alone.
Prince Ren turned his attention back to Freya, “Yes?” It would be a bit harder to keep his cover of not knowing english yet still be able to express himself, but he’d have to make do without Edgar.

Emerald jumped back, already fumbling the grab her dagger out and ready to attack with her flames if need be—although she’d prefer not to make a scene. Of course, she couldn’t help it when her silver hair shimmered a bit when the light hit it, despite her attempts to yank her hood down farther in front of her face.

"First, we need to sneak back into my room," Fay spoke slowly and used lots of hand gestures to help him understand. If she was going to sneak out of the gates with him then she would need to change. Today she was going to go see the port. Just then, the Queen walked out to check on the maids in the garden. "Oh crap! Sorry for my rudeness." Fay laughed a little before grabbing Ren's hand and dragging him off. There was no way she was going to get caught. "Damn these heels." It made it hard for her to run, but she wasn't about to give up. Blair looked around for Fay, knowing she was out here meeting with one of her suitors and she was going to make sure it didn't happen. That little girl was a thorn to her and Blair was going to make sure she never ends up happy. "You, redhead girl. You're close with Freya, where is she? I don't see her at the table."
Fay stopped behind a bush that was far enough away that the Queen shouldn't see them. "Sorry about that." Looking around Fay made sure her maids also weren't around. "Let me show you around the castle." Her composure was back but you could tell she was still up to no good. As she stood, Fay straightened out her dress and moved strains of hair from her face.

Prince Ren let out a little laugh, and nodded, “Okay,” He offered a smile, trying to use as little amount of words as possible. He was honestly tempted to blow his cover so he could talk more with Freya, but he kept himself in check. He couldn’t have word going around about him knowing english, it would be too much to risk. Even if the princess’s mischievous personality was a rarity these days. Prince Ren hardly ever went sneaking around these days, so he couldn’t stop himself from wanting to see what Princess Freya was up to.

@Fantasy-Illy!

"I don't see anyone else with red hair." The Queen stood tall and glared down at the girl, hands on her hips. It was considered rude to cross your arms, so Blair never did that. "Speak, have you seen her or not?" Losing patience, instead of yelling, she began to tap her foot.

"This is the hallway with pictures of narcissistic royalty like to hang pictures of themselves up." Her room was on the second floor so it was going to be difficult to get there, but Fay loved a challenge. Moving on to the next room, she took off her shoes and threw them to the side. It was hurting her feet and if they needed to run, it would be easier if she wasn't wearing something that would slow her down. "This here is the ballroom. Where people like to pretend they are important because they got invited." Fay didn't like royals much, but that was only because of the way the King left her mother to die. Plus she didn't want the tour to be boring. "We need to get to the second floor for my room."

@Rvan group

Prince Ren had to bite his tongue to keep himself from laughing at Princess Freya’s ‘improperness’. It was honestly refreshing, to throw off the titles and properness just as Freya had thrown off her shoes. “You are different, Princess Freya,” Ren commented quietly before adding, “In a very good way.”

@Fantasy-Illy!

"Well, thank you!" She spun and her dress flowed out as she did so. "I'd rather not be someone boring. "Anyway, we should continue before we get caught. The next room was the entrance, the place they really did have to be careful. Slightly Fay opened the door and peeked her head in. The head butler was standing at the door welcoming some people in, probably here for a meeting or something. "Alright, when they leave the room, we make a dash up the stairs and to the right. When we are up there, there is a door to the left, that's where we need to go." Fay hoped he understood that because didn't, it would be hard to gesture what she was saying. "Anyway, it's rare for a Prince to go with my antics, you are pretty weird." Fay said it assuming he wouldn't understand, so she thought it was oksy to just talk out loud.

@Simon-Says

Ellie nodded nervously. "So sorry, Majesty, I - she went to see a - a suitor, I believe," she explained, taking deep breaths to calm herself. "She - she likes to wander off, you see, so I really can't be entirely sure where she is."

@Fantasy-Illy!

"You are no help to me." Looking the girl up and down, Blair moved to a bench that sat in the garden. "Bring me a drink, now." The Queen loved bossing people around, especially people who didn't help her with what she wanted.

@Simon-Says

Ellie nodded quickly, curtsying before rushing off to the kitchens. Once inside the castle, she had to physically shake her head to clear out her nervousness.

Zero had already been pulling out a blade before he even rightened himself to keep from falling. "Watch it-" he said when he noticed it was just a girl, but not just anyone. "You're-" his jaw practically dropped in surprise. Of all places to run into someone he didn't want to run into. At least not untill he got to the castle.

(oof, I’m back :)

Prince Ren smiled a bit, holding back his laughter. “I will follow you,” He said with a nod. His father would be furious if he knew Ren was sneaking around with the princess of Xena like this, Ren didn’t care. It’s not like they’d get caught, and Ren was good enough at talking his way out of things.

“Shhh!” Emerald glared at him, praying the stranger wouldn’t reveal her identity. She glanced around nervously, spotting a secluded alleyway, before looking back to the guy. “Follow me,” She said softly, maneuvering her way through the crowd to the alleyway. Maybe she could pay him off to not tell anyone. Despite how she wanted to conserve her coins, she desperately needed to make sure word wouldn’t be going around about her location. Her father would have his guards on her in no time.

@Dirt

Zero snapped his jaw shut. This was most definitely going to be a disaster. He nodded his head and followed the princess. Revealing who she was to a bunch of people wouldn't do good for wither of them. Though he doubted the king knew of his plan yet. He'd kept it to himself, and that would be the plan up untill he finally did what he needed to do.

@Rvan group

When they got out of the crowd, Emerald quickly whipped around to face the stranger, “Listen, I have coins,” She was already rustling through her pocket for her coin purse, “You never saw me, okay?” Emerald fumbled with her purse, pulling out a few bronze coins. She prayed the stranger would be happy with the few bronze coins, she couldn’t afford to give away her silver or gold ones.

@Dirt

"Oh please. As if I'd go out and tell everyone that you of all people where sneaking around." Zero rolled his eyes at her bribe. "And I don't want your coin." His English being surprisingly good for a commoner. "If anything I want to know why you're out here."

@Rvan group

Emerald stared at him for a moment, weighing her options. She could just run, but she doubted he’d stay silent about her appearance far from the castle. She could tell him about her father’s plans, but she’d just seem crazy after that. “I’m looking for someone,” She finally replied, clutching her dagger tightly in her hand, “Some knights.”

@Dirt

"Doesn't your- house, have enough knights?" Zero had been ready to say castle. But didn't want to be that obvious.but then it hit him. Pherhaps this knight she was looking for was her lover, and who was he to judge if that was the case? Better she be long gone from the castle when he finally got there.

@Rvan group

Emerald frowned, “It has too many- but the knights I’m looking for are different. I need their help. They’re-“ Emerald bit her lip, debating whether she should go on, “magical.” Emerald had been asking around in taverns the past few nights, under disguise of course, trying to find a trace of the fairytales she hoped to be true.

@Fantasy-Illy!

They stood there for a few moments talking, and Fay rolled her eyes. Once they were done the butler led them off to the meeting room. "Now." She whispered and lifting up her dress a bit she ran up the stairs. Fay prayed that no maid was just walking around. Looking back she made sure Ren was following her. Today was the day she was going to have a little freedom and what kind of princess would she be if she didn't show her guest around the kingdom. "My room is just right up here."
