Backstory: She was raised by some people. In a house. I mean, she's pretty sure, but she can't really remember, because she ran away, for whatever reason, and ended up in the city where she went to live with some nuns for a while but she didn't want to be a nun, they were just party animals, so that was fun. But she eventually moved on and got a job at the palace because she's juST LIKE THAT. She still hangs out with the Sisters, though. They're LIT.

Hobbies: Reading, fencing, writing, gymnastics.
Likes: Very few people, smart people, doing dangerous things (ironically), gymnastics
Dislikes: Very few people, stupid people, ignorance, politicians, capitalism
Fears: She's honestly afraid of being alone forever. She's afraid that no one likes her because she's an asshat. Also bees. Eyikes.
Weakness: Clumsiness, for starters. But she's fiercely loyal and will do literally anything for the people she's close to.
Talents: Fencing, singing, and gymnastics.
Deepest secret: She used to have a sister who travelled with her, and she's pretty depressed half the time, but she hides it with sarcasm, and literally no one can find out, because then she'd flip the frack out.

Backstory: Ever since she was born it was her and her mother. She would go out and play every day with the town's kids and learned to fight hand to hand with her neighbor to protect herself. She had a happy life, even if things were hard for them. Her mom worked hard to put food in the table and their neighbor would help. But when she was 13 a deadly plague hit the town and most of the adults were the ones that got it. Fay's mom died and left a note behind explaining that she was the Kings daughter. By herself she set out to the castle. The guar6let her in and she went to the King. At first he didn't believe her, until her noticed she looked and acted like her mother. Still, he didn't want the Queen to find out and made her a maid. A bit of time past and Princes from other kingdoms took notice to her beauty and asked the king to marry her. He took advantage of this to get close to other kingdoms. He made her practice how a Princess acts and treated her like the Princess she was.

Personality: Shy and often quiet, thought Emerald certainly isn’t afraid to fight. Though she may seem a bit nervous at times, she’s also listening in on every word and calculating to get herself the advantage. Once she feels a lot more comfortable around you, she’s more outgoing and likes to joke around a lot. Emerald has a hard time trusting people as well.

Other: When she was younger, maybe at 13, she had a huge (secret) crush on a stable girl. She never learned her name, but she always liked the idea of a normal life. The crush faded away with time, and Emerald hadn’t let herself take a liking to anyone because she knew, despite her wishes again it, she’d probably get married off as a bargain chip.

Backstory: Emerald never truly enjoyed being cooped up in the palace. She enjoyed practicing her magic and for the most part she loved her ‘mother’ and father. She was often very reserved, but was polite to the servants and guests. She always obeyed her father’s orders because she knew her place, and even though he was her father, he was still the king. She obeyed his orders, that is until one day she went to his study to look for him. Upon his desk sat battle plans, with different sections that shown his plans for her to unleash her power onto warriors. She quickly left, but not before reading every detail in the map. She began to notice little things, such a stocking more armor and weapons, training soldiers harder, and other secret meetings, that all pointed to war—a war her father would use her to win. So, over the course of a few days, she quietly packed some things —clothing, food, a few daggers, a map, etc— she would need. And then, when the time was right, she grabbed her horse Starlight and snuck away from the palace in search of three knights. Knights from fairytales her ‘mother’ had read to her when she was little.
Hobbies?: Stargazing, chess, reading and occasionally horseback riding when her schedule allows. She was often kept busy by practicing her powers
Likes: Stars, warmth, mind puzzles, people she can trust, the quiet, being out in nature.
Dislikes: The cold, body guards, cruel people, large gatherings or feasts, crowded spaces.
Fears: Dying, becoming a pawn, water (a fear of swimming in it, not drinking it lol), being backstabbed.
Weakness: She doesn’t know how to swim. Also since she’s fairly light she can be overpowered easily.
Talents: Acting, lying, not showing (physical) pain. Emerald is also good at hiding in small places and she’s very agile.
Deepest secret: Once, Emerald was practicing her magic alone. She hadn’t noticed a servant entering the room, and her fire got out of control. She gave the servant many bad burns, and every since then she’s been a lot more careful to watch for people when she’s using her magic.
