"Ellie, what am I supposed to do when I actually meet one of my suitors? I don't want to be forced to be married to someone. I want to fall in love like a normal girl." Like her mother, although she did have doubts since the King left her she would cry a lot. Love was a difficult feeling, and scary as well. Has Ellie ever been in love? Fay was tempted to ask, but usually that's a sensitive topic for most people.
Ellie hesitated before shrugging. "Sometimes you have to do things you don't want to do," she told Fay. "There's nothing, really, that you can do, but maybe they'll turn out to be a good person," she assured the girl. Love wasn't exactly her area of expertise, but giving advice certainly was, so she decided just to do her best.
"Now I'm regretting being born a princess. Ellie, you should take my place." Fay sniffled and put her hand to her head to be dramatic. It was something she always had a problem with being over dramatic for the fun of it. The other maids just rolled their eyes at her, none of them liked her much, since she was the Princess and had a bit of better treatment. Or so they thought.
Ellie rolled her eyes. "Come on, you know I would make a horrible princess. I'm no good at manners," she said, nudging Fay gently. "Plus, you be already got the whole princess look."
"I think you are beautiful enough to be a Princess." A man wearing a black tuxedo walked over and tapped Fay on the shoulder. "Princess it's time for you to change." Fay looked to Ellie and smiled. "Wish me luck." She then followed behind the man. I can't believe I'm meeting my first suitor today.
Ellie gave her a small smile and waved. "Good luck," she told Fay wryly before returning to the weeds.
Fay was led to her room where a dress was already on the bed for her. Two maids bowed when they saw she entered the room, "Good morning Princess." It was annoying, but she had gotten used to it. The butler left and the maids undressed Fay and began to do her hair. The King didn't allow her to wear makeup since it might make her look worse. The Dress was a beautiful white, with silver designs all over, it always had some sequence to make it sparkle. It was tight around the too but as it went down it got looser. It made her blue eyes pop. Her blonde hair was put up in a weird messy braid and a flowers braided in.

(Did everyone just leave this one?)
(I mean… I'm still here… but there's nothing for me to do so I'm just tyuhjnkjnw)
(Same. It's hard for me to do anything without anyone else.)
(I’m still here! I just had two really busy days in a row and never got a chance to go online, I’ll write my responses in a moment oof)
(That's okay. I was just checking.)
Ren Blackmane waited in the study, reading a book as he waited to meet… what was her name? Freya? He shook his head, looking to his translator, Edgar, and asking in his native tongue, “How much longer will I have to wait?” All Prince Ren knew was that Freya was beautiful, and there was a chance he’d marry her. He had glimpsed her once, but had never gotten a chance to talk to her. Prince Ren’s father had been delighted when Ren told him about his interest in a girl who happened to be a princess, and immediately sent him back to Xena with negotiations of an arranged marriage.
“I don’t know, Highness, but I’m sure you’ll meet her soon.” Edgar responded with a smile. Prince Ren went back to reading his book.
(Btw, whenever he talks in italics he’s speaking in his native tongue)
Emerald Wierfeld adjusted her hood over her face a bit more. She kept her head down as she walked through the crowded streets of a busy town. Emerald was far from home, if only her past self could see her now. On an adventure she had once fantasized—finding fairytales told to her when she was a child. If only it was under better circumstances.
Every day that passed, she dreaded to hear news of the coming war. Even if she wanted to stop her father, Emerald doubted he would give up peacefully and she knew she wouldn’t be able to take him on her own. Which was why she needed to find the mystical knights told in the story books. Even if there was a chance they weren’t real, they were Emerald’s only hope to stop her father.
(I'm jealous, you're such a good writer😩)
"Princess, it's time." With a sigh Fay stood straight and put a smile on her face. Like every other suitor, she would just have to be herself and he would lose interest. It was easy, no Prince wanted to marry a tomboy Princess that has a bad mouth. Plus she was in a bad mood because she would have to see the Queen soon. "Coming." Opening the door two maids waited for her and led her to the garden area where they will be having snacks. "Wait here, and he will be here soon." They then walked off. When the maids were out of sight she laid her head back against the back of the chair. "I want to wear normal clothes, go to town and see my old friends."
(Aww thank you!)
Edgar cleared his his throat as he checked his watch, “Prince Ren, it’s time for you to meet with the princess.” Ren looked up at his translator, stretched like a cat, before standing with a smile.
“Finally, it feels like time moves a lot slower in this country,” Prince Ren said with a chuckled before setting down his book and following Edgar towards the garden. He combed his hand through his hair just before they entered the gardens. When Prince Ren spotted the princess, he straightened his back. She looked just as stunning as he had seen her the first time.
Edgar fell into step behind the prince as they approached. Prince Ren bowed, “Hello, fair lady, I am Prince Ren of the Southern Isles.” Edgar translated it to english for the princess to understand.
Fay startled a bit quickly stood and bowed. Was I spacing out again? After a few seconds she looked up and smiled. "Hello, I'm Freya the second Princess of Xena." Seems he doesn't speak English. How did father think this was going to work? "Please, sit," She gestured to the chair as she herself sat. The mini sandwiches looked like heaven to her. With waking up so early every morning, and the Queen refusing to let her eat made things worse. Fay tried her best not to let her stomach growl, especially since she was in the presence of a Prince. "So…" By now Fay would be twisting her hair because of the awkwardness, sadly though she couldn't. "What is the Southern Isles like?"
(Do I yeet Zero in now? I'm sorry I'm so bad at big RP's. Sksksksksk)
Edgar translated Freya’s question, even though Prince Ren already understood. “Quite lovely, it’s almost always warm temperatures and good weather,” Edgar translated that part before continuing, “The seafood market in booming this time of year.” Edgar translated that as well.
Prince Ren offered a smile, “So what is Xena like? I’ve only travelled her a couple of times before now, and those times were brief.” Edgar continued translating what Prince Ren said. Sometimes it was a hassle, to have Edgar with him all the time at important meetings. But it was good to see people true colors when they thought he didn’t understand a word they said.

(Oops I accidentally just reported your post, so if andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) sees this it was a mistake I swear!)
(And to answer your question, you could have him bump into Emerald and recognize her (or if they already know each other, he could be right behind/beside her as they are walking through the busy town))
(Ah so sorry! I'm working on my character I've just been super sidetracked the last couple days)
"Hm," It was an interesting question. All Fay knew was the slums and inside the castle gates. Although she would like to get out more and explore. "It rains here quite a bit, but I don't mind it, I actually like the rain quite a bit." It reminded her of her mother. They would go out and dance in the rain whenever they had the chance. "I've always wanted to go to the ports and see the ships," Fay sighed but still kept her composure. "But father won't let me." Ren was interesting, but it was the same as the others, he was here because of her beauty and that was all. Fay just wanted someone to like her for her, but no, she had to convince everyone she was this perfect Princess.

(No problem, you're good.)
