Hiding in a blanket of inky darkness, Krystal swam toward the system of caves where she took refuge from her pod. As she got closer to the caves, she noticed multiple sharks circling one of the entrances.
must be an injured creature in there she thought
Paying no mind to the sharks who could not see her, she swam into the cave in search of the injured being.
Turning a corner, her gaze fell on a severely injured siren.

The sharks banged against the tunnel more frequently. The walls were starting to give. Cracks could be seen. They grew with each hit. Each hit grew stronger. Pebbles fell from the roof. There wasn’t much time.

Leon swam toward the system of caves because he heard loud noises. As he got closer to the caves, he saw multiple sharks circling one of the entrances. What's going on? He thought, paying no mind to the sharks who could not see him, he swam into the cave to see why there was blood coming out of the cave. Turning a corner, his gaze fell on a severely injured siren.

Liam went to the cave

Not knowing how to help, Krystal merely floated near the other siren. Suddenly, through the darkness, she sensed the presence of another siren.
'Now what?' she thought.

“Hello?”

Chris ran to the secret cove, the sand flying up behind him before getting whipped out to sea by the strong wind. The storm had brewed up faster than was natural. He hadn't seen those splashes that seemed to follow him, and the air seemed heavily pressured. There was something going on, he knew it. Chris arrived at the cove and saw the waves crashing onto the rocks surrounding it. Chris climbed to the top of the rocks, almost losing his balance several times. Once at the top of the jagged rocks, he jumped towards the ocean, and a gust of wind that he had conjured carried him out to sea. There was some kind of a commotion occurring underwater, but he wasn't sure what it was. Chris took a deep breath. This was something that he had only tested in the safety of the cove, but he was fairly sure that he could keep his concentration. Chris let the wind around him die and he fell into the water. Once submerged, he used his control of the water to filter the water around him into oxygen, keeping him dry and giving him air to breathe. He quickly propelled himself towards the commotion.

Krystal hesitantly dropped the darkness around her and approached the injured siren. She could still sense the other siren but didn't call them out… yet.
She stopped a couple feet away but didn't get closer. She was accustomed to disgust from her pod (though she didn't know why) and assumed this siren would be the same.
"Is it alright if I help you?" she asked softly.

Leon stayed in a small corner, he couldn't help much so why should he try to help?

Chris swam deeper, water swirling around him. The commotion seemed to be coming from an underwater cave. Suddenly he stopped swimming. Great Whites patrolled the entrance.

The injured siren didn't respond, so Krystal got closer to her to check her injuries. They were really bad and the skin around the open wounds was severely bruised.
"We'll have to get you out of here to treat all those injuries," she said softly, kneeling next to the siren. "I can take you to my pod, or we can go to the Witch,"
She turned to the hidden siren and tilted her head, debating verbally acknowledging him. Her concern for the other siren won out.
"I know you're there, can you help me fight off the sharks so I can get her out of here?"

“I’ll try.” He responded

Chris shook his head. Something must be in that cave for so many to come. Chris set his jaw. Everything deserved life and a chance. That was his code, and it had been ever since his own family turned on him. Chris reached out his hand and using his powers, he suffocated one of the sharks. Instantly the other four whirled around and charged him. Oh what the bloody taz have I done?

The sharks snapped at the newcomer, defending their meal. They weren’t paying attention to the caves anymore, preoccupied by the newcomer.
