"Movement, for sure," he said, scooting even closer to her. "Amity's got strength down."
"Movement, for sure," he said, scooting even closer to her. "Amity's got strength down."
"Okay, movement and speed. You'll be invincible." She joked, reaching blindly for her icepack while bouncing the pencil in her mouth.
He leaned back so she wouldn't poke him in the face. "Damn straight. Won't be able to fuck with me."
Instead of her icepack, her hand closed around a wrench, but she seemed to lost in thought to notice as she set it on her shoulder. "God, you'd even be able to kick my ass. Flight?"
"Fuck, that's right. Webs're good though, keeps the suit simple." She mused, chewing on her lower lip.
((Heck yeah. I probably should've done that ages ago lmao))
"All I really need is a power source at this point, right?" he asked leaning in closer to the page, not realizing that he were barely inches away from Peggy.
"Point. Is there any way we can harvest the energy of the symbiote, or am I gonna have to come up with an alt source?" She asked, muttering at the point as she shifted closer to give him a better view, thinking he was still a good distance away.
At this point, they were shoulder to shoulder, and Klaus decided that he kinda sorta liked it. Instead of bringing attention to it, he decided to ignore it. "I doubt it would be very happy if you tried, to be honest."
"So that's plan C." She said, setting her pen down and reaching up to tap where the arc reactor was on her chest while she thought. "Anything else you want me to keep in mind, add on, all that jazz?"
He shook his head. "No, seems like everything's lined up. I never really fought with anything other than my hands, so it's not like I need extra weapons or anything."
"Should I hook you up to Adam?" She mused, mostly to herself, as she stilled her tapping.
He scrunched his nose up at the thought. "No offense, but I don't really need it."
"He tells the best jokes though." She muttered, blinking a few time as she looked at her shoulder. "Why's there a lug wrench on my shoulder?"
Klaus snorted, an inkling of a smile across his lips. "You put it there."
"Huh?" Peggy furrowed her brows in confusions, tilting her head. "When? Why?"
The smile grew to a grin. "You reached for an icepack and grabbed that instead."
"So I've just been sitting here, with a lug wrench on my shoulder, blabbering on about suits?" She squinted up at him, only to blink as she realized just how close they were.
He chuckled, his eyes squinting slightly because of it. "It sounds eve stupider when you say it."
"Klaus!" She nudged him with her shoulder, shaking her head as she tossed the wrench onto one of the table. "You coulda said something!"
"What?" he asked, chuckling some more. "I found it amusing."
"That's nice. On top of looking stupid, I feel stupid, too." She huffed, crossing her good arm over her chest.
"Oh, stop," he said, rolling his eyes. "I didn't realize it wounded your pride so much."
"Everything hurts my pride. I'm sensitive." She said, leaning into him dramatically.
