"can u wait until tomorrow we'll go to the station." says her dad

"tomorrow officer." says the mother

Baye sighs, scratching the back of his head but nods. He thanks them for their time and walks out of the building.

ITS MORNING NOW PLEASE

Elara woke up the next day falling out of the tree. "Ow!" She yells when she hits the ground.

Baye stays asleep on his couch. He was still in his officer uniform and drooling slighlty

Maya wakes up angry. "oh great today i have to go to the station then see my cousins." she says to herself

"TIME TO GO TO THE STATION MAYA!" her dad says.

Elara climbs up and wipes her hands on her hoodie, when she sees a rip on it. "Oh, great!" she moaned, "Now I have to get a new one!"

"ugh fine let me get dressed." says Maya. She puts on a red dress with flowers, and heart earings

Baye wakes up as he rolls off his couch. He grabs at the couch to stand and he heaves himself up to a standing position

She runs out of the forest and realizes she just ran next to the grocery store she almost robbed last night. She stands in front, looking at the shattered glass.

Baye walks out of his house, hunched, puffy eyed, exhausted

Maya walks to the street with her dad to the car. "dad why do i have to do this." maya asks. "because the officer
asked us to." says her dad

Maya stops walking when she sees a girl staring at her. "LETS GO!" her dad shouts.

Elara freezes when she sees the girl looking at her. She stumbles and begins to run away.

Baye looks up at the grocery store

Maya watches the girl runs away as they drive away. As they leave Maya sees a drop of blood on the sidewalk.

"ok we are almost there." says her dad.

Elara slows to a walk when she sees the police officer. She doesn't want to seem suspicious.

maya stares out the window she wish she was not in a strange town.

Baye narrows his eyes as he recognizes the figure from last night. He starts walking toward her, "Hey. Could I ask you something?"

Elara freezes and turns, her face a mask of terror as she nods at the police officer.
