"Logan, sometimes redness can appear on people's cheeks for other reasons. Sometimes, and most commonly, it is from feelings for someone being strong or because of embarrassment," Patton said.

@Fraust

"Hmm…" Logan pulled his hand away, puzzled. "Are you embarrassed??" He asked. "I don't recall you doing anything particularly embarrassing."

@heeey-bitchhhhhhhhhhh

Patton then realized why his face was red earlier. He hadn't noticed with the other emotions before, but after giving that explanation he realized that his face was getting red because of his feelings for Logan. "I'm not embarrassed."

@Fraust

"…Then why are you red?? You weren't hanging upside down or anything…" Logan sighed, pushing up his glasses a bit as he tried to think.

@heeey-bitchhhhhhhhhhh

Patton wanted to explain to Logan, but knew that it would make the situation quite awkward, and he was kind of glad that Logan was oblivious at the moment, as then his feelings weren't given away to him.

@Fraust

"Ah, well… you should drink some water anyways. It's good for you." Logan stood up and retrieved a glass of water from the kitchen, handing it to Patton upon his return.

@heeey-bitchhhhhhhhhhh

"Thanks for the water, Logan," Patton took the water from Logan and began to drink some of it, still glad that Logan had not caught on to his feelings just yet, but he knew that Logan would have to know eventually.

@Fraust

Logan nodded. "I'll have to do some more research… but it's dinner time anyways, so we should probably deal with that first."

@heeey-bitchhhhhhhhhhh

"Yeah, we should deal with that before anything else…" Patton said.
Soon dinner was ready and after a while everyone was done with it, leaving them to go back to their own things.

@Fraust

Virgil didn't mention anything to Logan or Patton during dinner, not wanting them to know he'd been listening in. Logan returned to the couch with Patton after dinner.

@heeey-bitchhhhhhhhhhh

Patton and Logan continued to talk after dinner about some different topics, and Patton finished explaining most normal emotions and things that they cause to Logan as well.

@Fraust

"Books don't explain much about emotions, do they?" Logan sighed softly. "I read psychology books all the time and none of them can even begin to explain how one actually experiences emotions, why, and how to deal with them. They just talk about chemical imbalances in the brain and medication."

@heeey-bitchhhhhhhhhhh

"Books don't have all of the knowledge in the world, but what they lack – like how emotions are expressed, for example – are things that someone you know could probably explain to you. If you ever need anything else on emotions, then feel free to tell me! I'll continue to help you in situations like that anytime!" Patton said.

@Fraust

Logan nodded, considering for a few seconds. "I believe I'm alright on the basics of emotions for now. Is there anything else you want to talk about?"

@heeey-bitchhhhhhhhhhh

"There's nothing that I can think of to talk about at this time, but I'm glad that I could help you start to understand emotions! Is there anything else you're wondering about that I might understand?" Patton asked.

@Fraust

"Is 'love' the reason the man in my novel continues going after the troublesome woman?" Logan asked curiously.

@heeey-bitchhhhhhhhhhh

"Going off of what you explained, yes, it does appear to be love, but it also appears to be some misconception, like someone convinced him that he loves her when he does not, most likely for their own advantage, or for him to get killed in an attempt to save her when she doesn't need saved," Patton said.

@Fraust

"Mm… perhaps. He rather reminds me of Roman: determined to save the damsel whether or not she needs or wants to be saved." He hummed softly.

@heeey-bitchhhhhhhhhhh

"He does remind me a bit of Roman, yes, but something about this desire to save her comes off as fake. You've explained some of the interactions, and how in the beginning he showed no interest in here, which is why it still comes off as a false belief as a result of some type of emotional manipulation," Patton said.

@Fraust

Logan nodded. "Perhaps he is being blackmailed, or he feels it is his duty to save her despite him not wanting to?" He suggested.

@heeey-bitchhhhhhhhhhh

"Those are possibilities for what could be going on. If he is being blackmailed, then why, though? What could he have done that would allow someone to hold it against him? If he feels like he has to save her, then why does he save her and no one else when they are in greater danger? I understand the emotions and how they're fake, but now I need to know why they are there. I don't know much about character interactions, so I cannot fully understand his fake emotions, simply," Patton truly did need more context to understand the fake emotions and why they were there.

@Fraust

"Hmm… perhaps you should read the book as well? I can't imagine it would take you too long, to be honest, and then you could help with the emotional aspects of the novel that I'm simply not wired to understand."

@heeey-bitchhhhhhhhhhh

"Sure! Do you happen to have another copy of it? If not, if it's in the library I could always get myself a copy and read it! I'd love to help you understand the emotional aspects of the book, and it seems interesting, too!" Patton said.

@Fraust

"I don't have a second copy, but I'm in the library enough that I could easily pick up another." Logan shrugged. "It's no trouble."

(I apologize, but this is a rant now. So, I'm visiting my grandparents {because that's logical in my family's perspective, I guess} and they expect me to act like a stereotypical woman sometimes. They expect me, the eldest of three sisters, to help cook food {girl's a clumsy and autistic mess, so um, what do you want, exactly? Terrible and somehow messed up food?} and they also expect me to like everything, act properly 24/7, not talk about anything I love, not sing what I love, and expect me to clean as expected. {Shared with sisters, but you know} Hope you enjoyed my rant! I'll reply later)
