“Goodnight.” Trent replied, hugging Lydia back and shutting the door behind her with a soft click. He put his hands in his pockets and walked off to his cabin to get some rest, musing over the fact he’d adopted two siblings within twenty four hours.

Trent reached his cabin, stopping by the bathroom sink to wash the gel out of his hair before heading to bed and crashing out almost immediately. Today felt like sixty eight hours instead of twenty four, and the teen was exhausted.

Trenton was walking near the forest, having cleaned up the few things he owned. He didn’t want to be in the way of cleaning, and needed an escape from the yelling. He heard a faint cry for help in the distance and broke into a run to investigate.

Trent raced over spotting the boy and Ophelia. “What’s going on?” He spotted the blood and immediately began to fuss over Jake.

"Looks like we've got another one. Here, we need to get him to somebody with medical experience." She tucked away her gun and stepped forward. "Can you help me lift him, or am I carrying him on my own?"
