"Thank the Gods that you have mortal money." Rayvn ran a hand through his hair, his face relaxing contently. He couldn't tell them that he himself didn't have any of it—he wasn't that fortunate. "Okay. Now we need to think about Rachel's last message. Aphrodite is missing." he turned to Carina. "Do you think you would be able to reach out to her?"
Carina nods in reassurance as she puts the cash back in the pocket. "Perks of being the daughter of the CEO of Elms Industries I guess. Old money can last generations." She mused with a soft laughed. Yeah, money. That was the only thing her family was good for, not that did anything with the money. It just sat in a vault or was spread out through many properties. Growing up like that, she lost her appeal to materialistic things. When asked about if she could contact her mom, Carina's eyes widen. "I mean maybe. I could try but there is no guarantee if she would answer even if she wasn't missing."
Jade looked at Carina. “You should try. We need to get a start to this quest. Try your hardest and I bet you’ll contact her. She’s your mom.” Jade tried to be helpful. It was a serious situation.
Carina smiled gratefully at Jade knowing she was just trying to help. And Carina was grateful for that but she was unsure if she could do it. What if she tried and she is met by silence like always. What then? That would disappointing and kind of embarrassing as this could be a highly helpful for the group with the quest. “Okay. I will try praying to her. But I can’t make any granites…” She says while biting lip in uncertainty. The daughter of Aphrodite looked down to an unspecified point on the ground as she closes her eyes. Concentrating hard, she tries to call out to her mother not really knowing what she was doing. After about a solid forty seconds, nothing and Carina sighs in defeat. “I got nothing.”
Jade tried not to be frustrated. “It’s fine. Ok umm. What else do we know? Anybody got any ideas.”
(Hey all, so I just came back to notebook and saw this, anyone up to revive?)
(Oh yeah, that'd be cool!)
(Do we want to do it here or create a new thread?)
(Erm, either is fine with me)
