(Okay, I was just confused about the whole picking a fight thing and like… yeah my brain is kinda not working lol)
(Do y'all want to skip to breakfast?)
(I think it would be interesting to see the tension between the cabins over breakfast, since it’s a time when you’re supposed to be refreshed and happy. It’s up to you)
(Ok)
Jade slowly walked over to breakfast. Yay. Another terrible day at Camp Half Blood where everything’s the worst. She was beginning to see why Mr. D hated it here.
Juniper quickly walked to breakfast, rushing through the camp to sit down at her table. She was feeling worse than usual, but she assumed it was because she'd gotten absolutely no sleep.
After an unusually pleasant night's sleep, Rayvn stumbled his way down to breakfast, yawning and messing with his already wild bed hair. He was by no means an early bird, and the flashes of sun threatened to blind him—he ended up walking into things a couple of times, mainly campers and tables, before finally throwing himself down at his own table. When his eye sight focused he could practically see the tension hanging over each and every camper. Had he missed something?
Cielle walked to the main hall (I forget what its called) for breakfast holding a stuffed bear in between her hands. She sat down at the table and put her head in the table, groaning. its too early.
Jade sat down at the Athena table. Was breakfast seriously a thing? Gross. What was up with everybody. They seemed unhappy. Good. Maybe they were finally realizing how sucky life was.
Juniper considered getting food, but after staring at the table and blinking for several seconds, decided that was too much work. "Oy, Myra," she mumbled to her sibling. "I want a waffle, could you help me out?" Immediately after asking, she put her head down on the table and stared off into space.
Jade pulled on a blueish purple strand of hair and groaned as loudly as possible. “Why is it sunny. I hate the sun.”
Juniper slowly lifted her head up. "Could you, like, not?" She called to the Athena girl, she couldn't remember her name. "It's too early for you to be a bitch."
“Morning C,” Rayvn cooed to his younger sibling, a slight smile appeared on his lips when he saw the bear she was holding. She was still but a child, still so much innocence. “I saw you’d cleaned up the cabin, looked great. Though I don’t appreciate you touching my stuff.” He glanced around him at the other campers, and overheard one of Athena’s children openly saying she didn’t like the sun. Not the best thing to announce when half the pavilion was packed with Apollo’s children.
“It’s never to early to be a bitch. Mornings are he best time to be bitch.” Jade got up grabbed the nearest coffee and sat down.
"They are legitimately not," Juniper groaned, putting her head back on the table. "Unless you just genuinely love pissing people off, which seems likely enough, since none of you kids have emotional awareness," her voice got softer as she fell asleep on the table.
Cielle smiled at the arrival of her brother. He was only two years older than her but he treated her like the little kid she acted like. Holding the soft plushie closer for comfort, Cielle waved at him. "Morning Rayvn."
"It's going to be an interesting morning C…" Rayvn shook his head, ruffling the girl's hair slightly as he rose from the table. "What do you want, coffee? Omlette?" he had a strange feeling that they were both going to need all their energy today, so a decent breakfast wouldn't go amiss.
"I'll take a long nap for breakfast." She grumbled, putting her head on the bear. "I'm not really hungry so I'll take orange juice and probably a granola bar.
“I hate naps. They waste my time. I could be doing many other things like training and practicing the best way to apply concealer over battle scars. And polish my knifes. Or read.” Jade sipped her coffee and kicked a rock.
"Oh my gods, literally could you like shut up and leave people alone? Seriously, no one needed to hear your opinion on fucking naps," Juniper ranted loudly.
“No one needs to hear your fucking opinion on me but we heard it anyway. I’m done with this.” Jade tossed her coffee in a garbage can and began walk away.
"That wasn't an opinion, I was stating facts. I would think you would be able to tell the difference, o superior one," Juniper snapped annoyedly. Gods, she had always thought the Athena kids were a miserable bunch, but this one was getting on her nerves even more than usual. She was finding it difficult to calm down when she could FEEL the impertinence radiating off of everyone. "This is stupid," she muttered, and stood to go back to her cabin.
Now, Rayvn was a calm, gentle soul. He refused to hurt anyone, or even raise his voice. During training he would get scared and drop the weapon he was holding——nothing at all like his father. However, even he was finding it difficult to remain calm and collected when the people around him were at each other’s throats. He took C her orange juice and breakfast bar, before stuffing his hands into his pockets and walking after the two girls. His pace was a lot quicker than theirs, so catching up to them wasn’t too hard, and once he was in arm’s reach he grabbed both of their wrists. His grip was firm, almost painful to the others, but he wasn’t going to let them go before he’d finished what he wanted to say. “I think it would be in the best interest of you both, if you were to put whatever differences you have aside and refrain from attacking each other. The day has only just begun, it is far too early to be cursing at the top of your lungs. Don’t forget that there are still young campers who look up to you guys as role models. I don’t think Chiron would be happy to hear the two of you setting such a poor example. Get yourselves in check, and at least try to be civil with each other. The last thing we need is a death around here.”
"Hi, it's really not cool for you to grab my wrist like that, and it's also not cool for you to tell me what to do. The only people I care about here are my cabin; the rest aren't my responsibility, and I'm not yours," Juniper said flatly. "No one's trying to kill each other, I really don't know where you got that idea. We're mildly annoyed; there's a huge difference."
