Salem lifted her head and licked Karina's hand happily
The girl purses her lips, thinking about asking for a pet at home. Despite her parents being who they were, it would likely be a no for now. 'Imagine all the fur shed everywhere!' her dad would say. 'Maybe some day. It's not the right time yet,' her mom would agree. It wasn't too big of an issue though. She watched Alpha in the distance. The boy she was talking to looked vaguely familiar. The dark hair and slim form…
(salem doesn't shed that much but then again she might not be all one thing ;) )
Aquila’s body tensed as he saw Caedmon approaching. His head grasped wildly for the alias- oh, right. Aquila Hayle, close family friend of Evret. It still struck him odd that this person was his nephew.
(OMG IRIS YOUR SHIP SCENARIOS ARE SO CUTEEEE!)
Vesper was quiet, shifting uncomfortably. He had finished his ice cream earlier, and now wasn't quite sure what to do. He wasn't the type to just…strike up a conversation. So…what was he supposed to do?
(Omg that's cute are we allowed to use it XD)
(…Imma do it)
Cassie looked up from her port and scanned her surroundings before taking a breath. "Hey, Ves!" She called, waving him over.
Vesper blinked, glancing at Aquila for a moment, then walking over to Cassie. "Uhm. Hi?" He said slowly, looking at her.
"Wanna watch a really old movie?" She asked with a half-smile. "It's terrible and beautiful at the same time."
He blinked. "I uhm…" He glanced over at Aquila again. "You can make decisions for yourself, you know." He bit his lip, looking at Cassie again. "Uhm…sure." he said hesitantly.
Cassie smiled. "Sit down, then. You can't see from up there."
“Hi. I’m Alpha- you can call me Aly if you want. Do you want to join us? There’s an ice cream truck over there and umm-“ stars. Why was she so nervous? Sure he was cute but she didn’t even know him!
Vesper blinked, and sat down beside her. "Uhm… alright." He replied, peeking over her shoulder so he could see. "What's it about?"
Caedmon smiled. "Oh, you're Scarlet and Ze'ev's daughter!" He realized. When he smiled, he flashed slightly lopsided dimples. "Nice to meet you." He looked around. "I…sure. I mean, if you're good with me butting into your party."
Salem walked over to sort of introduce herself to Caedmon and sat by him right between him and Alpha being a bit more than a little territorial
Alpha smiled shyly “I don’t mind- it’s getting boring anyway. Hey Salem! Caedmon- this is Salem the wolf. Shall we go over there?” shall? Did she just say shall? Alpha internally screamed and looked up at Caedmon.
"Ever seen Aladdin? I heard they're doing their 57th remake this year, and I've never seen the original," she looked over at him as she spoke.
Vesper shook his head. "Ah…no, I haven't." He replied, looking at Cassie. "I haven't seen many movies." He shrugged slightly, glancing away.
Caedmon smiled. "Sure." He replied, bending down. "Hey, pretty girl." He cooed at the wolf, reaching out to let her sniff his hand, before petting her gently.
Cassie tipped her head. "Well, you don't exactly need a refined taste for this one," she informed him brightly, finding the movie.
Vesper nodded. "Okay." He replied. He fidgeted slightly, glancing over at Aquila for a moment, then back at Cassie.
Cassie played the movie. "Brace yourself, " she laughed.
“See Salem, he’s not a threat.” Alpha glanced down to the friendly canine.
Vesper raised an eyebrow slightly. "Why?" He asked, glancing at her, then back at the movie.
Caedmon smiled at the wolf for a moment, then straightened, looking down at Alpha. "So. Where to?" He asked with a grin.
