"I-I have no idea what you're talking about." She paused. "I didn't say anything else but that you're to close to my liking." She looked around and stumbled backward. She didn't say anything to Falco's comment. She was to busy trying to get away from the threat in front of her.
"Hmmmmm. I think I tocuhed a part of your history" he walked slowly toward her." Do you think I'm dumb or something. I know you and I know Lily's past as well. And from that, I take a great pride on capturing you two. You two are relation to powerful people. I cant let you leave."
She looked around frantically for a way out. Stop that. You have magic, and you have "friends" who can help you. Being scared isn't an option. She thought to herself. She took a deep breath and looked at Falco. "Bold of you to assume we're going to stay here with you." She turned to Lily and knew that what she was going, she was going to regret later. "Hey you, grab the books, and let's go! Before Mr. Stallker here decides to knock us out."
Lily nodded, having heard the whole conversation. She grabbed the books and stood up, rushing to the door. “Come on!”
"Oh, I thought you wanted to know your guys past and family" he said then he shrugs. He grabs the book he was reading
“I’ll find out the non-creepy way! By reading up on my family’s history with no one knowing!” Lily yelled, opening the door. “Come on, get over here!” she called to Quinn.
"Oh, no. Don't think you can fool me! You were obviously going to try something. I'm not stupid. And neither is she." She held the books closer to her. "Whatever you're trying to do isn't going to work on us." It was tempting. It really was. His offer off telling her who she really was. But she knew that trusting a stranger wasn't going to work out well. She blinked as she made her way to Lily. But then stopped halfway. "I need that book. It's the last one. I can't leave without it."
He walks to the bookshelves and said" Well ok then but remember this. Next time you are in this library. I will take you in for your crimes".
Lily glared as she got an idea. “Actually…I would love to know something about my great-grandma,” she winked at Quinn, signaling her to grab the book when Falco set it down.
Quinn quickly got the signal and nodded. "You can't really backup from your offer Mr. Stalker, right? That would be crushing our poor hopes and dreams. Our desire of wanting to know about our past. Our purpose."
“Yeah, where else am I supposed to learn why my great-grandma doesn’t talk about the other side of my family?” Lily asked, smiling innocently. Sure, she was lying but he didn’t have to know that.
"Exactly. The books? They can only tell us so much. And what if the books were written by one of our ancestors? Then the information we need wouldn't be in there, would it?" Quinn made her way to Falco and leaned against a bookcart. "Just tell us about her family, and we'll be out of your feathers."
He laughed then said" How dumb do you think I am". He then said"take the book, it wouldn't be as different as your clans taking from mine. Now take it and get it out of my site. Got it" he turned away
Well, our magnificent plan failed quite quickly She thought to herself sarcastically. "Better watch what you say, Falco. Because I'm not going to allow you to say shit about our families." She ripped the book from Falco's hand and glared at him. "Let's go. There's nothing here except an old man salty about his past." As she made her way to the exit, she used her magic to throw a couple of heavy books at Falco.
He caught each book then set them down." Well all of your familys are shit. They are the reason why the world is crap and they hide their mistakes from the younger generations" he said to his self
(Oh my- How Will I stick My Character in this late?)
She turned around and bit her lip. "I'M SORRY? How exactly is it our family's fault for the world being horrible? Because it's not. It's not their fault and you have to stop blaming them for every single little bad thing that happens in the world." She took a deep breath and tried to calm herself down. "You say another bad thing about our families, and I swear, I'll make sure you never talk again."
(Just make your character enter the temple)
(Um, I guess he could just come in and interrupt their fight? Probably to tell them to shut up because they're making too much noise?)
"Maybe I have to explain to you. Long ago, there was 3 clans in scotland. The rich mcducks. The powerful magic De spells and the poor piece of shit Hawkaxes. The de spells tortured the Hawkaxes and made most of the monster that the Mcducks fight today. You got it you little monster. Your clan is the reason for dangerous in this world and the McDucks are not even better. They stole and stole from the poor and killed clans for money."
Lily froze and turned around. “Hold my books,” she handed the books to Quinn as she walked over to Falco. “Don’t you dare talk about my family like that ever again,” Lily growled as a tiny stack of books fell over. “My family was worked hard to bring our share to this world and they would NEVER hurt anyone in it.”
Loww was going through some books when he heard the yelling. My god… He mumbled. People have no respect… Loww huffed. He walked around to try to locate where the noise was coming from. He then saw the people that were making the noise. Loww walked up to them and shook his head. "Quiet won't you? Your disturbing my reading and I like to read in quiet…"
(He's wearing his cloak rn.)
(Hold my books…adwbadjjad)
With the help of her magic, the books started floating in the air beside her. She stared at Falco and laughed. "Okay, let me stop you right there. First of all, the De Spells aren't from Scotland. They're from Italy. Second of all, sure the McDucks might not be saints, but they're at least honest." Her anger was going up, and she wasn't sure if she could contain it. "AND I'M NOT A MONSTER!"
