Lily, meanwhile, was looking around the temple. She had come because she wanted to know why her ancestors hadn’t talked to each other in years. She thought about asking some of Mr. McDuck’s employees to help her but they were busy and she didn’t want to bug them. Lily traced her fingers along the wall when she bumped into a smaller duck, this one being white. “Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry!”
Falco was at the temple archives looking at all of the information about Magica De Spell. He sat there reading and reading till he heard a voice from outside the Archives. He was ready to fight, He slowly grabbed his sword and pulled it from his side. He slowly opened the door and was ready to swing at the thing that made the sound
“Watch where you’re going!” Quinn said as she turned around. She narrowed her eyes at the brown duck in front of her. She didn’t even hear that the door had been opened. She scoffed as she crossed her arms. “It’s fine, I guess. You’re going to be dead soon, so it’s not like it matters who you bump into anymore.” That was a lie. The young duck in front of her wasn’t going to die anytime soon. But she hoped it at least freaked her out a bit.
Lily froze. She was definitely freaked out by what Quinn said. I wonder why she’s here… Lily asked herself, trying to look past the fact Quinn had just said she would be dead soon. She sighed.
Falco peeks around the door and saw two ducks talking to each other. He started to sense something from a smaller white duck and then his eyes became narrowed. He remembers this aura coming from her and was ready to attack her. He said quietly to himself, "I guess today is my lucky day"
She saw how Lily froze, and a smile appeared on her face. “Anyways, seeing as you’re the only one around here. Do you have any idea where the temple’s library is?” She asked. “I’ve been trying to locate it for about an hour now.”
“You’re looking for the library too?!” Lily gasped. She didn’t know why Quinn wanted the library but if she knew the way, Lily would be willing to help. Too bad she didn’t know the way. “I’ve been here for a while too!”
"Attack now", Falco said to his self but he thought this could be a good moment to get more information on Magica. He slowly went through the door and said, "Who are you two"
Lily froze and turned to face Falco. “H-Hi…I’m Lily Rowena…” she waved nervously.
“I was reading the stones on the wall, which are in an ancient language. I’ve gotten a sense where the library is, but I need one more to see if I’m right,” Quinn said with a sigh. She quickly turned around surprised. He looked at Falco and grimaced. How long had he been there and how much had he heard? Probably not much, since Quinn didn’t really say anything else than a simple “threat” and asking the girl where the library was. “I’m Quinn. Now the real question is, who are you, Mr. Stalker?”
"I am Falco Hawkaxe" he said as He bows to them and then walks forward. He walks around them then stops. "Now, why are you here. This is property O.O.D. No one is allowed here unless you get special permission". He turns and looks at them. He puts his sword back to his side.
“I’m here to find out the truth about my ancestors. They haven’t spoken to each other in years and I want to know why,” Lily crossed her arms.
Quinn rolled her eyes. "I'm here on behalf of the McDuck's. They said they would give more information once I accessed the library." Of course, that was a lie. She could also say she was here on behalf of the O'Gilts, which would be partially true. Because her friend Sapphire did ask for her to find some information about her family. She looked at where Falco came out. "I assume that's the library?" She didn't wait for an answer and pushed past him to get inside. "Ah, hidden in plain sight. Guess the stones were clear as daylight."
As she pushed pass him, he said"You are just as mean as Magica De Spell. Maybe you know her………I heard you are close to her in a way" he waited for her to say something and stand their look at her then he turned his head to lily and said"how about you, is any of your ancestors a de spell" he smiled as he said that
Lily followed and immediately gasped. “So…many…books!!” she smiled and her eyes shone like stars. She immediately rushed to some of the shelves looking for anything she can find about her family. “And no, I’m not related to any De Spells as far as I know…”
"Anybody can be mean, buddy. And no, I don't think I know her." She said without turning around. The name Falco Hawkaxe sounded familiar, but she couldn't quite place it. She hummed as she walked to a bookshelf and took out a book with the name O'Gilt on it. Well, that's handy. She looked around trying to spot a book with the name McDuck on it. She had to keep up her appearance as the McDuck's messenger. She took out her phone and put it close to her ear, and whispered random things. She hoped it made her look she was talking to someone. As she walked around, she spotted a book…no two books that piqued her interest and pulled them out.
Lily noticed some books with the name Rowena on them. She grabbed them and looked for a place to sit down. Hm… she thought top herself once she saw an empty spot. She sat down and started reading.
"Come to think of it, you didn't tell us why you're here, Mr. Falco," She said with a whisper as she opened one of De Spell books she had taken out of the shelve. She sat down on the ground and took out a book from the lower shelf. She looked it over and sighed. It was a very big and heavy book with the name McDuck. She put the McDuck and O'Gilt book beside her.
Falco walked back in the room and grabbed the book he was reading. He read to his self till hr said."Well, then my apologies for thinking you both related to One of the De Spells." He said that in way that sounds true but he was secretly lying. He knew their was something fishy about them
"Im here to find Magica De Spell" He said as he continue to read
Quinn made a choking sound as her eyes widened. That's why the name sounded so familiar. Falco Hawkaxe was a man who wanted to put Magica on trial for her crimes. Meaning he was hunting down Magica, just like the Phantom Blot did. She looked at the book Falco was reading and grimaced. Of course, the only other book she needed was in the hands of the enemy. "Oh, that's interesting."
"Hmmm. Aren't you a smart one" he said as he slowly turn towards her with a smile. He then said slowly"Unlike Phantom Blot, I have found her without help." He closes the book and put it down on the table.
She looked up at Falco and growled. "Alright, you're way too close for my liking." She said as she grabbed the books and stood up. "I don't what you're talking about." She backed away from him, sensing the danger coming from him. She was ready to defend herself if it came to that.
"I dont know what you are talking about" he stands up. Then he said" wait I know you know. De spell". He looked at her. " that was what I was sensing from you."
