Valerie looked half furious half miserable as she hissed something in a hushed tone at Cato. “Oh, hey, Sage,” she said, glancing at him.

\ good thanks. although my friend was really sad today, because her boyfriend is at school camp currently. he's been away for two weeks, and its still another two weeks before he comes back so that was sad :( \
"Are you guys ok?" Wow, stupid question. Again. Yay me.

“As okay as we can be,” Cato said slowly, hand on Valerie’s shoulder.

Sage felt really bad that Cato had taken all the blame to stop Arianna being exiled. "Hey Cato," Sage sounded a bit awkward but he continued anyway, "I just wanted to say thank you for doing that."

“It was my fault anyways,” he shrugged as the black haired girl muttered darkly next to him, curse words being clear.

“Right, sorry,” she winced. “It’s a bad habit that I probably shouldn’t push onto you too.”

“Thank you, Praetor.” Arianna smiled, leaving. As soon as she left the room, she dropped her smile and painfully sighed. She went to prepare to leave.

"No, no, it's all good, just the intensity, complication and length of that curse surprised me a little." He saw Ari leaving her meeting with the praetor and waved her over.

Arianna walked over to the three. “Hi Cato, Valerie, Sage.” Arianna smiled, her smile getting brighter as she greeted Sage.

"Hey! What did Reyna say?"

“You learn some things in the military,” she shrugged. “Hey, Ari.” Cato echoed her greeting.

“… unimportant things.” Arianna shrugged (I can make two Hamilton references from this post), “But what is important is that we should start preparing to leave.”
