Kaito sighed softly as he kept Kokichi close to him and closed his eyes. He really wasn't sure if he would end up falling asleep that night, but he was going to try to sleep just in case in finally would get some sleep. He didn't want to give his lover even more reasons to be concenred.

Kokichi slept lightly during the night, whimpering softly

Throughout most of the night, Kaito just watched over Kokichi since he was having difficulty sleeping like he had been for the past few nights. He was a bit worried about his lover, but he didn't wake him up, waiting for morning to come first. Even as morning came, however, he didn't sleep at all.

Kokichi whimpered in his sleep, curling up tightly

Once the morning came, Kaito gently shook Kokichi after a moment. He was worried about his lover with how often he had been whimpering in his sleep, but he didn't disturb him until it was finally morning. Once his lover was fully awake, he decided to ask.

What's wrong? Are you alright? You keep whimpering in your sleep…

‘just a bad dream’

Kaito nodded in understanding. It made sense, although he felt a bit bad for not waking his lover up sooner. He had been rather focused on trying to get some sleep himself, although each attempt that he made ended up being in vain. It was already the next morning, though, so there wasn't much that he could do about it.

Alright. I'm here if you need a hug or comfort.

‘I know, I'm just glad it's Saturday..’

Kaito nodded in response. He was pretty glad that it was Saturday as well since he wasn't in the mood to do all that much that day. While he wished that he could say that things were getting better for him, they really weren't. His condition had only gotten worse overnight.

Same here… I'm glad that it's Saturday as well, don't worry.

‘cuddles?’

Kaito nodded in response as he continued to hold Kokichi close to him. The cuddles were always going to be something that could make him happy, and he was glad that his lover wanted to cuddle as much as he did. Maybe the day would still be a good one.

‘love you’

Kaito immediately gave Kokichi a small smile in response. Knowing that his boyfriend loved him still seemed to be more than enough to make him smile, so he was in a pretty good mood at the time. He was happy with his boyfriend.

‘I'm bored..’

Kaito nodded in response. It was a pretty boring day at the time, so maybe they could decide on something to do that day. There wasn't much going on, and it was a Saturday, so they didn't need to worry about school or anything like that.

Well, what do you wanna do today?

‘I don't really know..’

Kaito sighed softly, but he wasn't annoyed by the response or anything like that. He was also a bit out of ideas when it came to things they could do together, so he wasn't sure what they should do that day, either. No matter what, he wanted to have a good day with his lover.

Maybe we could go on a date? If you can think of a place to go, we can go there.

‘sure, mcdonald's?’

Kaito nodded in response to the question. He didn't mind going to McDonald's with Kokichi, so it seemed like a pretty good idea to him. While it wasn't all that much, it was something that they could do, so hopefully it would put an end to Kokichi's boredom and make the day somewhat nice.

After responding to Kokichi, he got up, but he wasn't entirely sure how long he'd be able to remain standing. Even so, he just wanted to have a normal day out with his boyfriend, so he ignored the issue for the time being.

Kokichi had noticed, giving a raspy whine. He needed Kaitos attention to sign to him so it was the best he could manage

Kaito quickly turned his attention towards Kokichi when he heard him whine. It was unusual for him to make random noises, so it concerned him, all things considered. He didn't really know what was going on with his lover, but he wanted him to be okay. He was aware that his own condition wasn't good, but he wasn't sure if the whine was due to that or something else being wrong.

‘you should be up, you look like shit’

Kaito sighed softly at what he was told, but he wasn't in the mood to argue, so he just sat down after a moment. He couldn't really deny that things had gotten worse for him during the night, so he didn't even try. The last thing he wanted to do was get into an argument with Kokichi.
