In this characters cultures boy's last names are their mothers first name with the word 'son' on the end. This guy's mom's name is Stella. His first name is Starson. So his name is Starson Stellason.
I haven't decided if his parents are stupid or if they just hated him from birth.
Dude, this reminds me of my boy who got named water (Haidraqo) by his fisherman father.
Y'know, because I couldn't bear to give all the squad new names after the dumb ones I did.
Ok these aren’t ones I came up with but I gotta share because they’re just so good—
(Say them fluidly and out loud if you don’t understand reading them)
My newest is Phyte (pronounced fight). She's my badaxx assassin girlie.
Iludaria "Lu" for short
Not my character, but one i helped my sister come up with: Lovésnaie. And then there's Scubaruba, who is Lovésnaie's father.
Gerd Gaft (Gaft= jat)
I named the Twin Overwolves (basically two wolves that rule the world) Fisk and Fish. XD
@/At_Last_Its_Attean I love that lol
Dartriark
Chadwick.
I'm pretty sure it means "dairy farm".
Bleep Blorp the Moldavite
Well, I named my protagonist "Bluefur". He's a human (wizard) male with blue hair he was born with and I'm kind of sorry for bestowing this blue curse upon him.
Weirdest would have to be Ms.Orange ( a drag queen.) and Akecheta isn’t as weird as it is just unique
All the same story, all different people
Sliga.
Sarua. Not really a weird name in the universe. However, her name was supposed to be Larua, but I forgot and called her Sarua for 5 months until I realized my mistake and didn’t want to change it. But then I learned from a friend that female lizards are called sauras…and Sarua is a dragon….so her name is very, very close to meaning female lizard, which is what she is.
I had a character who's name changed from Nico to Niko to Neko overtime as my friend and I misspelled it and didn't change it back
I am aware it means cat
He is almost a cat
It's something his dad would do, call his son cat
Vozreal
Vozreal
Did you get the name from the Spanish voz real?
Sorry if it’s a weird question, but I’m just curious :)
My whole book is full of strange names, so I’ll just list a couple of the weirdest ones:

Okay, so I legit mashed some letters together to make his name, and found out later that it's spanish

Not a character name, but this reminded me of the time I accidentally named one of my cities the Finnish word for "sturgeons." I ended up changing it because of that.
Yes! That’s a common occurrence that happens more often than I thought it ever could! Nevertheless, there are times the real meaning of the name/word matches the character and doesn’t mean some strange (sometimes awkward) word and you don’t have to change it XD
Is Ludlimay a weird name?
