it's still a badass name.
Just, you know, not for a real life person.

This is how I feel about roughly 95% of my character names.

Honestly I don't have too many weird names? Besides plant names I guess. I have a Hemlock and a Wisteria, those are pretty odd ones. Same with Oberon.

my protag for a scrapped project from a few years ago was named am, short for amorie. also, when i was 11, my favorite oc was part of a group of characters i made based on the electromagnetic spectrum (idfk), and she was visible light/rainbow themed. her name was prisma lucekari. prisma for obvious reasons, "lucekari" as a combination of the latin root word luc/lux/etc and hikari, which is japanese for light. i am so glad i'm not 11 anymore.

I don't know. I have fairly normal character names (although most are going to be changed to fit the story). Sparta and Duxe might be my strangest.

I do like to use male names for my female characters though. I guess it could be considered strange? Michael, Felix, Colby, Sebastian, and Esteban are just a few. I guess I, myself have a unisex name mostly used for males (but I'm a girl) and I have always loved it. I guess it's kinda rubbed off onto my characters.

Thanks! I created Esteban first and thought she needed a sister so I came up with Sebastian.

Delphinia Regina. I'm doing an "Enchanted"-style story where a modern teen is trapped in a fairytale-esque world and is mistaken for a princess' prince charming. I made all the fairytale names weird and the weirdest is probably the princess'. Good ol' Princess Delphinia.
