Tseth: He stands up, now carrying Parvus in his hand as he walks. He watches Rhiv storm off and glances at Resh. "Hm. He's worse to be around than you are."
Alex: He rolls his eyes as he watches Rhiv storm off. "He'll get tired of having bleeding ankles eventually. Or he can stick it out and be in pain for a few days as they heal." If he's going to be a stubborn asshole, then he deserves it. It's not serious anyway.

Parvus: He looks up at Tseth and chitters at him, standing up and walking around in circles on Tseth’s hand.
Resh: He huffs at Rhiv as he storms off, then glances at Tseth. “Hard to come across someone who’s more insufferable than me. Or you.”

Salmook: he hangs back as he watches his pater walk off. hold on. where is he going? "Pater! The path leads the other way!" he frowns. Rhiv is already out of earshot. Salmook turns back to the others. "He's- Pater's just grumpy. He gets mean when he doesn't sleep." he narrows his eyes at Parvus. "And you say you're sorry, too!"
Rhiv: it's taking every drop of willpower in him to not lash out at something. anything. everything around him is in trouble. he glances back at the path. "Salmook! Get over here!" his hand keeps reaching for his hatchet, but he stops himself. he'll clean it at the river - that's where he's headed anyways.

(My brain imagines him as a light blue with a bit of green speckles or whatever and it still imagines him as that despite ame having told me that he was all green a long time ago)

Tseth: He narrows his eyes at Rhiv when he yells. "I don't trust him with the kid. And I'm not saying that just because I don't like him."
Alex: He looks between everyone. "Should we follow him or what?"

Parvus: He stares at Salmook, then hisses at him and continues walking in circles.
Resh: He glares at Rhiv, then looks down at Salmook. “Kiddo, I don’t think the scaly little fuck can say sorry.”
Juni: She seems very tense when Rhiv yells, and looks up at Alex. “I- I think we should leave him be for a little…”

Salmook: "Well, I don't think hissing is a 'sorry,' either. Bad Parvus." he starts to follow after Rhiv. Salmook wouldn't want his pater to get even more mad, after all, and maybe he could help calm him down? Salmook's a little upset with Parvus himself. "I'll… I'll go."

Alex: He looks at Juni and then Salmook. "…Right. Be careful."
Tseth: He pretty much just stands there, watching as Salmook leaves to go with Rhiv. Tseth thought Rhiv was good at first with Salmook, maybe nothing bad would happen. But what if something did go wrong?

Parvus: He stares up at Tseth, chittering at him. He climbs up to his shoulder and lays down, staring at everyone else.
Resh: He watches Salmook, and strongly considers following him. Just in case. He looks slightly conflicted.

Salmook: he's at the tree line where his later disappeared. before completely vanishing, he turns back to the group. "Parvus, be nice! Or I'll… I - I'll cry! And you won't like it!" and then he's gone.
Rhiv: he sighs when Salmook appears alongside him. good. his twitchy hatchet hand rests on Salmook's head, and Rhiv ruffles his son's hair. "You remember how to swim, yeah? Should be easier here - hopefully the water's warmer than what we're used to." he takes Salmook's hand and leads him east.

Tseth: He glances over at Resh, and gestures a "come on." He doesn't say anything and starts following Rhiv and Salmook silently.

Resh: He looks at Tseth and nods, immediately following him.
Parvus: He looks up at Tseth curiously, flicking his tail.

Salmook: he looks up at his pater as they walk. how long has it been since they were alone together? a day or so? feels like ages. Salmook squeezes Rhiv's hand. "Are… are you sure you can walk?"
Rhiv: he chuckles, but it's pretty obviously forced. "Sure, sure. I'm walking now, aren't I?" his grasp on Salmook's hand tightens as he thinks of the possibility of more scaly-rats living in the forest. it's only for a moment, though, and he relaxes. he limps onwards, trying to keep the same pace as before, but even moving at half-pace is painful. Parvus is a "poor thing?" Yeah, right.

Tseth: He and Resh were stalking through the forest, following Rhiv and Salmook's trail. It's fairly easy to follow, Rhiv is injured and didn't seem to try and hide where they were going. He glances back at Resh every so often.
