"Villain clubhouse? That's pathetic. Reminds of something from kids TV. What was it? Oh yeah. The Mickey Mouse Clubhouse."
"Villain clubhouse? That's pathetic. Reminds of something from kids TV. What was it? Oh yeah. The Mickey Mouse Clubhouse."
"Well, I didn't come up with the name!" Peran protested, looking offended. "You, sir, are talking nonsense. A clubhouse for mice named Mickey? Whatever TV is?" Peran scoffed and looked around. "I mean, come on."
Maddox snorted. "You've never heard of Mickey Mouse? Or TV? Have you been living under a rock?"
Cassowary stares at the group currently speaking, then finally says something. “While it’s not a rock, I did live under a city for most of my life. No TV down there.” The slums were odd places, and they varied from sector to sector, but in most of the sectors, TV was an ‘upper level’ thing. So Cassowary hadn’t heard of Mickey Mouse, either.
"I think he's from a time with castles and shit" Saber said from the sofa. "Or at least that the vibe I'm getting from him."
"Yeah, see!" Peran pointed at Saber. "This one knows what they're talking about!" Peran smiled at Saber. "Although it was castles and magic. Just for future reference." Peran paused. "And it wasn't a time, it was a place. I don't actually know if it exists anymore, since I smashed it into Earth…" He trailed off.
Maddox nodded slowly, his arms folded. "Sounds about right."
"Is that a compliment?" Peran asked, tilting his head to one side. "Eh, never mind." He laid back down and stretched his arms out to either side of his body as if he was about to make a snow angel. But he didn't, just stared at the ceiling and murmured something to himself.
"Well, this is fun." Saber said. It was hard to detect the sarcasm in his voice but it was there
"Well, if talking to yourself doesn't suit you, why don't you suggest an activity?" Peran said, raising his head to look at Saber.
Cassowary seemed to move their position, but still leaned against the wall. They kept eye focus, but it was hard to tell with the helmet.
"Imma blind, disabled bird person and you're asking me what to do? I remember why I'm a villain, I started the apocalypse. That's about as good as my creativity gets!"
"Oh, well, good for you!" Peran exclaimed, dropping his head back into the ground. "Well. Do you want to see one of my monsters, then?"
"I'm blind. So no. But I would love to be in the presence of one!"
“You already are in the presence of one,” Cassowary spoke quietly, although they were interested in seeing what these ‘monsters’ were.
Saber made a sound sort of like an eep and fell off the arm of the sofa onto the part of the sofa you're meant to sit on. "Don't do that! I'm blind for Fate's sake! I don't know where anybody in this room is! I don't even know how many of you there are!" Saber yelled at Cassowary
"Right. Okay. Here comes another being, Saber." Peran snapped his fingers and a young child appeared in the middle of the room. Peran leapt to his feet and walked closer to the child. He placed a finger on their forehead and they started to transform, the black of their pupil bleeding into the rest of their eyes, then spreading outward until there's nothing left but a humanoid shadow with a large, blinding white smile. "Tada!" Peran exclaimed.
"I'm still blind, Peran. Tell me what it looks like." He wanted to be told, but he didn't need to be. He felt the presence of the shadow as soon as it was made.
The doors were suddenly flung open and a woman with long white hair and red glimmering eyes walked in. She was wearing some armor on her chest, arms and legs, and she had a long spear on her back, and a long sword on her hip. She walked forward a few steps and looked around. Her hands resting on her hips.
Saber 'eeped' again, jumped and hovered in the air, somehow supported by his singular wing. He scanned the doorway using the only means of 'sight' he had, magic. Black magic to be precise. He could tell the newcomer was female, armed and she seemed to be pretty sure of herself. He could feel his head starting to hurt so he lowered himself slowly back onto the sofa and sat there, shaking slightly.
"Right. So, it's this-" Peran was interrupted by the newcomer. He stopped in annoyance and gave her a once-over. "Hey." Peran nodded in greeting and turned back to Saber. "It's this humanoid shadow with a super fun, really sharp set of teeth. And that's basically it." He shrugged.
The woman let her arms drop to her sides as she scanned the room. She then walked over to a chair that wasn't being used, and she sat down. She seemed completely relaxed, as if no one here were a threat to her.
"Sharp teeth do sound fun." Saber said, grinning to reveal shark like teeth
At this point, Hiryur had sat down on a table, swinging his legs absent minded, barely turning his head to the newcomer. Virion had leaned against a wall next to Hiryur, rubbing away a stain on the handle of his umbrella, only glancing up to give a polite nod to the woman that had just entered.
"That's pretty impressive" Hiryur said, leaning forwards. "What does it do tho?"
"It kills people," Peran said, "and it can blow things up, and turn other people into monsters." He grinned. "It's simple, but it works."
