"OK ok! I don't know who those people are but OK!" Sadao replied to Peran. "Now you're starting to sound like Aiko and Tsukuda."
"OK ok! I don't know who those people are but OK!" Sadao replied to Peran. "Now you're starting to sound like Aiko and Tsukuda."
"Who, me?" Peran asked, placing a hand on his chest in mock confusion. "Is that a good thing, or a bad thing?" A dagger appears in his hand and he flings it at the nearest wall.
While he was unable to express his emotions as visibly as most, a low rumble, probably along the lines of a growl escaped through what would be considered his mouth. He stands up, backing off to the side a bit, then sitting back down - in similar manner to how a cat might lay in a loaf. Just biomech-saurian edition.
“All of these items appearing out of nowhere,” Ruth muttered, “are driving my sensors crazy.”
The dagger disappeared from the wall and into Sadao's hand. "Depends." He threw the knife as well and it impossibly landed in the exact same place it had when Peran threw it.
"Well, Ruth. There's this thing called 'I'm-a-super-powerful-sorcerer', which allows me to make things appear out of nowhere." He looked at Sadao with an unhappy look on his face. "'Depends'. That's a wonderful answer. Very clear. Love it."
“Magic,” Ruth growled, which was very clear at the moment, “doesn’t exist where I come from. And how do you know my name? I have not introduced myself yet.” If he could narrow his eyes, he would be now.
Peran rolled his eyes. "Did you not just hear my 'I'm-a-super-powerful-sorcerer' thing? I have my ways." Peran shivered. "A world without magic. What a terrible place. Kinda like the planet I invaded. I had to smash my own world onto it to make it suitable, but…" He shrugged. "Magic is worth it."
“A terrible place?” Ruth laughed, but it barely sounded like one, considering he had never heard one before. “Utheon is a terrible place, but only because the nature of our world willed it to be. Earth, no clue. I’ve only read of overpopulation and food shortages there, though.”
“It will be fixed though. I just need to get rid of the humans that have survived Utheon.” Ruth seemed to drift off on his last sentence. He glances up again.
“Besides, Ruth is not my true name. I didn’t have the term of names until I read on it. Names are human concepts.”
"Right." Peran nodded. "Well, good luck with your… mission thingy." He cocked his head to the side. "So, what's your true name?" Peran grinned. "If you wouldn't mind sharing it with me?"
“The Dominator, AI of the Domination Project.” Ruth simply stares, or seems to, anyways. He’s a bit busy loading any new information he hears into his databases. “Even that wouldn’t be my true name. My exact name is a bunch of numbers, which I highly doubt anyone here wants to hear me recite.”
"Mmm, you're right." Peran nodded. "Well, 'The Dominator' sounds like quite a title. Very scary. Very villainous. Why'd you choose Ruth, then?"
"Yes, please do tell…" Frost said, looking for a good story. Yes she was an assassin but she loved stories.
“Easy to say, doesn’t take that much time to say when compared to my other names. And Ruth is short for Ruthless, another name the humans like to call me.”
"I like it!" Peran clapped his hands together. "Ruth-Short-For-Ruthless, you are very good at names." He nodded and waved his hand. A small grey medal, suspended on a red and silver ribbon, appeared in his hand. "This is for you. It says 'Best Nickname' on it." Peran beamed and held it towards Ruth.
"I've never had a nickname before" Sadao admitted, somewhat wistful.
(can i join?)
(Yeah!)
"Well, if you could have a nickname, what would it be?" Peran asked, looking towards Sadao.
"I dunno. I have been called 'Sad' before but that's, you know, sad"
"That is a terrible nickname," Peran gasped. "Do you have any more nicknames?" He frowned. "Who even called you that? And why?"
"My gang. I was being sad at the time now that I think back."
((I’m just gonna swap out Ruth for another villain, since Ruth is a bit harder to play in a roleplay situation.))
Ruth stared at the medal for a moment before accepting it. He stood up, glancing away. “I do have things to do, so if you’ll excuse me..”
"Bye, Big Guy!" Sadao said waving furiously. He had another slushie suddenly, vivid purple this time.
"ugh, what is this place? Don't tell me i got lost again!"
A new voice came from behind a corner, alongside the rythmic sounds of high heels on pavement. The newcomer rounded the corner, muttering more curses under their breath.
While the voice was male, the appearance of the stranger certainly was not. Long wavy purple-ish pink hair, reaching his waist with tips standing up, a long dark coat and black high heeled boots. The top half of his face was covered by the carefully combed bangs, leaving visible only his nose and mouth, lined with dark lipstick.
He stopped walking as soon as he saw the others, looking slightly disgusted as if he had stumbled over something he hated
"Oh jolly. People….."
"Bye, Ruth!" Peran waved goodbye. "Oh, well, aren't you a cheerful one," Peran remarked, looking over at the newcomer.
