"Not so fast," came a watery and disembodied voice right before the wall crashed into them, filling their lungs and cutting off all airways.

The guards struggled and kicked, but they had heavy armor weighing them down, and so were just wasting more energy.
She kept them in the tight quarters, not letting them escape her hold to run and warn others. She wanted to get this done as quick as possible so that they could get Aquarius before he turned into the nightly entertainment.
T guards, one by one, stilled. The all slumped, one after the other, and seemed to be dead. Or at least unconscious.
Koralia solidified, leaving a soaked room behind. She had left the area with the old man untouched, and she turned to him. "I regret leaving you here, but I must get to him before Zeus lays his hands on him."
“Good luck, my child,” the old man said. He watched as she left, chuckling quietly to himself.
Kora darted through the halls, a cat and a lizard dropping on her shoulders as she passed them.
(Wonder who those could be…)
Aquarius was led into the theone room, where Nyx sat, on a large throne. She seemed to have been won over by the council, but not to have told them anything about the others.
(lmao, also that feline whine was Leon complaining about getting wet)
Kora melted back into a body of water but separated herself into individual droplets so that she could get a visual on every part of the throne room without being spotted.
(Wow, I should have guessed XD)
”This is the Siren Prince,” Zeus said proudly.
Nyx rolled her eyes. ”Little small.”
Kora sent one of her water droplets towards Nyx's ear, whispering to her. "He is one of the prisoners to free,"
Nyx didn’t seem to notice the whisper, but her head gave the slightest of nods. She turned to Zeus, an arrogant eyebrow raised. ”He seems weak and boring control of himself. What did you do?”
The god looked flustered. “I-I don’t know what you’re talking about!”
Nyx smiled darkly. ”I think you do. No feature, no matter how dumb, acts this obedient. And you just got him what, three days ago? There’s no way he’s been trained in that time.” Her lips curved in a sadistic smile. ”Yoi must break them first. And treat, my dear Zeus, takes more than three days.”
Kora continued to watch patiently. Leon and Levi, still in their smaller forms, kept to the shadows as they waited for Nyx to convince Zeus to let Aquarius go, or at least bring him somewhere where they could easily ambush the escort and take him.
Zeus looked almost… frightened. Nyx looked terrifying, true, but the fear seemed to go deeper. As though he knew what she was implying.
“I, uh, I…” He didn’t seem to know what to say.
Nyx smirked. ”I might let this little incident pass, even through I told you to stop if you give the Prince to me.”
The king of the gods gave a slow nod. ”Very well.” He sounded tired and defeated.
Thank you Nyx and you're naturally terrifying nature. Kora's droplets seemed to quiver with anticipation.
Aquarius was led away, and Nyx smirked. "Thank you, my godling," she said to Zeus. With a wink, she strolled from the room.
Kora, still in multiple droplets, shot after Aquarius and waited for the perfect moment to snatch him. Maybe she could–and this was really disgusting on her part–see if there was some sort of bacteria or poison to flush out of his system.
(Ew…)
Aquarius was led from the room by a dozen guards or so, followed by Nyx. After they left the palace, though, the guards left.
(Yeah, but it's useful. And he's a siren, so it wouldn't kill him. Some powers are really gross)
Kora solidified behind him, keeping quiet just in case he proved to be trouble.
(Very true. I once saw this power where they would shoot their eyeballs from their eyes, but they would turn into golden balls. It was weird.)
Nyx smirked. "Now, I have gotten them out. I expect a reward. Except that I no longer want my throne anymore. I want revenge."
Kora arched a brow and crossed her arms. "Alright, revenge against who? We have our limits, remember, and your wrath is certainly one not to be tempted. What are we supposed to do that you yourself can't do?" she asked, side-eyeing Aquarius to make sure he was okay.
Nyx glared. ”You haven’t lived long enough to see all the crimes done by Aphrodite,” she hissed.
"No, no I have not. But I need specifics." Kora remained calm and surprisingly unruffled by Nyx's harsh gaze and words. She was like an ocean—calm and steady for the most part, and then loud and raging out of nowhere. Should you rock the boat a little too much, you might find Kora wasn't so kind either.
Nyx rolled her eyes. ” Does no one teach the children now adays?”
She grinned wickedly, a sparkle in her eye. "No, no they do not. And my father never sought it fit to tame this sea."
