The guard passed, and Lance released his breath. Aurae, on the other hand, wasted no time and was soon dragging him through the halls. "Ebony picked up her scent," she said quietly.
Ebony, Aurae's black male Mimickree, slithered along the edge of the hall, following Tempest's scent.
(Ooh, you could! Or, you could still do her as Dolos, because it’s not restricted to gender.)
Hera and Tempest were in adjoining cells. Tempest was unconscious, covered in bruises, and Hera was glowering at anything that moved.
Zeus rolled his eyes. ”Are you here to join us or not?”

Ebony slipped into Tempest's cell and started licking her bruises, slowly healing her as much as he could. He grew in size so that he covered more ground at a quicker pace, a slight, puppy-like whine coming from him.
”I don’t know,” Nyx said with a sneer. ”So far, all you’ve done is threaten me. You didn’t even ask me to join.”
Aurae found two other guards and motioned for Lance to do his thing. He sighed and shifted into his six-foot-tall ram, then charged the two guards. They turned around just in time to get pinned against the wall. Aurae took her time as she put silencers on her pistols, then shot them both in the head. "Bingo," she said to herself.
Hera scowled, but said nothing.
Zeus flushed angrily. ”And what have those pesky demigods ever done for you?”
”They offered me my throne back.”
Lance and Aurae reached the cells, and Lance knocked down the cell door holding Tempest—he was still in goat form. Aurae walked in and checked the siren's pulse, whispering to herself in Elven.
Zeus paled.
Tempest was alive, but only barely.
Aurae shook her head and looked up at Lance. "I can only heal her so much. It's not my specialty. Death is."
He shifted back into his human form, crouching down next to Tempest and stroking her hair. "Do what you can."
She nodded and sketched a basic elven healing spell over Tempest's body, muttering the spell under her breath.
(And then the world exploded, because you should never trust Aurae with something like that.)
Tempest gave a small jerk, but didn’t awaken. All her outside wounds were healed, but she seemed to be in some sort of coma.
(Lmao. She knows basic Elven spells, but she's a dark elf dependent with death magic as well as magic from her dad)
Aurae furrowed her brow and stopped, shaking her head. "This is a job for Hypnos and the others."
(gasps So maybe the world really is going to blow up!)
Nyx paced back and forth. The shadows reported that the rescue was almost done, and she smiled. ”What would you give me in return for my services?”
((Or just a really early zombie apocalypse))
Lance scooped Tempest up as Aurae made quick work of Hera's cage. "While I might not like you," she said as she discarded the lock, "now's not the time for that."
(No, just a magical mind sickness apocalypse.)
Hera didn’t even argue. Something was very wrong with her. Her aura was fading quickly, and she seems to be weaker.

Aurae frowned but gestured for the goddess to follow.
Back at the other dungeon halls, the groups were breaking out other prisoners as well, including Tempest's brothers.
(Exactly.)
Aquarius seemed to be fine, except for the red eyes. He opened his mouth to sip it for the guards, but another prisoner, who looked like he had been there a while, covered his mouth.
Koralia and the other Chimera brothers were in charge of getting Aquarius and Tempest's other brothers. Leon shifted into his Lion and charged at the guards, snarling and bearing his large canines before sinking his teeth into them. They died before they could alert anyone else.
Levi couldn't shift, as he had wings to contest with, so he settled with trying to work the locks. Kora's body morphed into water, and she stepped through the bars of Aquarius's cage, then solidified once again.
Aquarius struggled wildly against the figure holding him, but to no avail. The man, an old one, was stronger than he looked.
Kora spread her hands placatingly. "We're here to help you all," she said calmly, the words slipping over her tongue.
“I know,” the old man said calmly, seeming not to notice how hard Aquarius was fighting against him. “But he doesn’t. Little siren got brainwashed.”
Kora pursed her lips. This could prove difficult, and it wasn't like she could wrap him up…
She turned around and faced Leon, who was still in lion form. "Leon, go search for some rope—and a gag, while you're at it." The lion nodded dutifully and bounded through the halls.
(Just FYI, the male Sirens don’t have the powers the females do, just the good looks.)
The old man smiled wryly. “Good choice. And may I ask Who you are, child?” He asked Kora.
She barked a laugh. "Oh, it's been far too long since I've been called a child." She sketched a bow. "I'm Koralia, a demigod child of the higher powers." She winked. "Technically not even from this world."
(So if she were to wrap him in "ropes" of water, he wouldn't be unaffected?)

“I’ve heard of you,” the old man said with a twinkle in his eyes. “The powerful daughter of the sea.”
She grinned, showing her sharp, needle-like teeth. "Really? Then you'd know that I am well over 20 thousand years old."
