"Mhm." She closed her eyes and rested her forehead on his chest. She resisted the urge to trace patterns over his shirt, knowing how much he hated it and not wanting to ruin it.
"Mhm." She closed her eyes and rested her forehead on his chest. She resisted the urge to trace patterns over his shirt, knowing how much he hated it and not wanting to ruin it.
"Anything you wanna do?" he asked, rubbing her back gently.
"Not really. I'm beat." Then she chuckled. "Oh, so you can rub my back, but when I do it to you, you get all touchy?"
"The difference is that you like it." He poked her side gently. "I, however, do not."
She stuck her tongue out. "Poke me again and I'll poke you."
He decided to test fate and poke her again.
She jabbed her finger in his ribs.
He winced, twisting slightly to move away from her touch. "Fair enough, I guess."
She smiled sweetly and lifted herself to her tiptoes to bring her lips to his.
Runner leaned into the kiss, closing his eyes and he stepped close once again.
She slid her hands up to wrap them around his neck, melting into him and letting everything bothering her wash away for the time being.
He leaned back for half a second, grinning. "Feeling any better?"
"Mm. I was until you stopped." She gave him a half smile.
He put his hands on her waist but didn't lean back in. "Do you want some food?"
She raised a brow. "Do you have to ask me that?"
He pulled away from her reluctantly. "Well, let me try my hand cooking."
"Ooo. This should be entertaining." She headed over to the kitchen and hopped onto a barstool around the island, resting her chin in her hand.
He followed her, then busted out a bowl of cereal with a sly grin. "My gourmet meal."
She burst out laughing. "Oh my gods, I should've seen that coming."
He planted a kiss on her cheek as he walked by. "Indeed you should've." He set the box beside her on the table and grabbing a bowl and some milk.
She tapped the counter thoughtfully. "My little tantrum must've disqualified Fassor." She grinned wickedly. "Worth it."
He snorted, pouring the cereal into the bowl. "See? Always a silver lining."
"Hmm. Debatable." She watched him lazily. "You are such a great cook. You rival even Gordon Ramsay."
"He'd probably scream at me for my lack of seasoning." he poured the milk in and slipped a spoon into the bowl, sliding it over to here. "Here you go, my love."
"Aw, how sweet." Ever the lady, she eagerly dug in.
