Anna glanced at him. "How's your memory doing?"
Anna glanced at him. "How's your memory doing?"
Ronan blinked. "Me?"
Anna nodded. "Maybe I'm not the only one who forgot things." It was a halfhearted hope.
He tapped at his wrist, a habit he could never break. "Six months is more than enough time to gain back any memory loss. I didn't know who I was for a good week. Drugs," he concluded.
Anna looked somewhat frightened. "You've been here for six months?"
He nodded. "Yeah. Got caught a while ago. Don't exactly have the skills of miss mafia over there," he hooked a thumb in Tessa's direction. She stuck out her forked tongue.
Anna watched them both, nodding at Ronan and observing how the siblings interacted with each other. Then the forest started to shake and the lights on the ceiling parts dimmed and they could all feel the air suddenly get cooler.
Tristan sighed, “They won’t make us lose our memories right?”
"If you haven't already lost it, you probably won't. Maybe… what if each group has had six people, a fire one , so Tess and Alex, and dragon one, Ronan and Endie, a shifter one, Tristan and the spider thing, and then the rest of us, and they're doing different things to those of us who fit different criteria, whether it's making us forget things or giving us powers." Anna started pacing again.
Ronan tapped his wrist again. "Maybe. My group had a similar setup."
"Yes! See, stuff makes sense when you approach it from a logical…" She trailed off and kept pacing. "from a logical standpoint. So maybe… Ronan, how close was your group? did you… argue a lot? and were you all in the tanks when you first woke up?"
"I don't want to find anyone with earth stuff, much less fight them. But you're probably right. Maybe there's something about the combination of all of us together." He shuddered.
Tess frowned and blew out a breath. It clouded. "Okay…? I think it just got cold guys."
"You're right…" Anna shivered and stopped pacing. "If it starts snowing…." She let that threat hang in the air. "I hate snow."
(I'm gonna have to go. My Chromebook is at 7%)
(That's ok I should get school done anyway…)
(me too I have homework and a bunch of other stuff I'll be back tomorrow)
(See ya then!)
Enderstorm calmly watches the exchange, not wanting to intrude, as she didn’t know anyone in any way. As it got colder, she summoned her fire and breathed it onto her fire proof scales to keep warm.
(back for a bit) "Oh! We should introduce ourselves. Hi, I'm Danny, I'm vegan, I'm a proud cat mom of two, I'm eleven, and I just got almost attacked by my flaming evil sister, which by the way, Tristan are you okay?"
Enderstorm chuckled at Danny’s introduction, accidentally breathing fire in his direction as she still had it summoned to the back of her throat.
He ducked and grinned good-naturedly. "Don't worry, I'm used to having fire thrown at me. My sister had a bit of a temper. One time she… Well that's not important."
“I-I’m fine,”. Tristan said, “Uh sorry I couldn’t do more.” He looked at the cold air, “Oh no, not snow! I’m not dressed for this…magic? Please work,” he muttered and poofed into cat. The smoke provided a quick burst of warmth.
Still holding down Alex effortlessly, Enderstorm breathed a puff of flame just above everyone, to try and help warm them up.
“Is there anything we can burn for a fire?” She asked as the small burst of fire dissipated.
Tess herself radiated heat, not feeling the cold at all. She tilted her head towards the forest. "I'm going to try and get some answers. See how many groups are left."
