“It’s not an interview,” She said, shying away from Austin and looking ahead, ignoring his cool stare. “You humans get offended so easily, it's enough to drive one crazy.” She snuggled into the side of Abies' face and kissed her head affectionately. “You’re wrong you know.” She raised her brown eyes to Austin's face, “I’m immortal and I’m not a god, sooo, gods aren’t that special. Even Arwoods immortal, though, he wants it to end… ” she glared at Austin warningly, “Don’t tell him I told you that or he-” There was a bright light behind her, and Abie jumped from her arms, she turned around to see Arwood standing by himself, Felix was nowhere to be seen.

Arwood turned his head as the blinding light lit up the dark tunnel. When he regained his sight, he found Felix nowhere, he had simply disappeared. Clutching the pommel of his sword to keep it from slamming against his thigh he caught up with Austin and Thea.
“Felix disappeared.” He pointed, nodded his head behind him, “there was a bright light and then he was just…gone.”
Thea snorted. “Good, we didn’t want him anyway. Nevertheless, he could have sent us home before he vanished.”
Arwood ignored walking beside Austin but keeping a good distance between them, “does he do that often? Where did he go?” He glanced down at Abie sniffing the area, he knelt down beside her.
“I have a feeling your nose can’t find where he went correct or am I wrong and you have hidden powers too?”
"Bullshit. Immortality is a myth for children and idiots who would try to take on old gods." The flash of light from behind him told him Felix was gone. "Great, you upset him that much? The first time you met him? You really are a bitch. Felix hates being a god as much as Arwood hates being 'immortal', and you made him feel like a piece of shit for it, despite the fact that he DIDN'T CHOOSE TO BE A GOD YOU-."
Austin was interrupted when his own fit slammed into his face. He stumbled a bit, then shook his head.
"Sorry, that was rude." He muttered at Thea. He turned to Arwood, who was running up to them. "Felix gave Jarrod an anchor point, so I'm sure that's where he's at. Basically, using the rune tattooed to his arm, he can teleport to anchor points whenever, or wherever he wants if he wants to burn a lot more energy. Let's get out of here before I end up clawing out someone's guts because I'm too tired."
Austin winced, and started doing his best to put some distance between him and the others.
Stay close to Em. He is a lot more powerful here for some reason. He shot the text to Mel, and pocketed the phone as he stepped out into the arena.
