Arwood nodded and began to investigate every inch of the arena. He checked behind armor and weapon stands, moving benches looking for hidden trapdoors, and running his hands along the ground and wall, pausing every now and then as if to listen. He halted near the center of the arena and knelt to one knee head tilted a little to one side, studying the ground intently. “Ah, I seem to have found a sign, come take a look.” He indicated a thin layer of sawdust sprinkled about the ground. “The sawdust could have been put there years previous but those more recent.” He pointed out multiple blotches of wet sawdust, he glanced up awaiting their reply.
Austin and Felix ran over. Austin looked around for some sort of hatch or something similar.
"Odd." Felix mumbled. "Unless someone was chewing tobacco or something, I'm not sure why it'd be wet."

Mashka, meanwhile, took the phone out of Mel's hands and examined it curiously. "It glows."
"Yeah, that's the screen. It shows the messages. It glows because it can change what it looks like by changing the colors." Mel watched her to make sure she didn't do anything stupid with it.
(Nah you good. That's such a bummer about school, I hope it gets better!)
He nodded, “It is strange, but I do not think it is tobacco juice.” He leaned closer to the ground, “and it does not seem to stop here,” he pointed to more droplets that lead away from the dust. He began to crawl forward following the trail when suddenly he turned to Abie. “Can you track?” he asked, “you already sniffed it, what does it smell like? Does it smell familiar? Like something you have smelled before? Anything?”
shep is so good at smelling things!! Abie said happily. shep did a sneeze. shep will sniff it again. She did so, and somehow managed not to sneeze, tracking the droplets, her little shep nose pressed close to the ground, the knife catching the concrete floor every now and again and making loud screeching noises.
Mint and Calix poofed in. Mint fell on top of their brother. “Ow…sorry Cal,” they got up. “I-It’s fine. Not like I’m hurt or anything,” Calix shrugged.
Arwood crawled to his feet and followed Abie, wincing every time the knife scratched the round, nervous she might cut herself. They came to a halt before the far wall where they found another door but much smaller, it was just large enough for a young child to walk through. He bent down next to Abie and smiled reassuringly. “It seems like you will have to continue alone. If you need any help just call and I believe we could manage to shove Felix through this door to come after you.” He grabbed the handle and opened it to reveal a dark hallway. “Good luck” he patted her head affectionately
(Oops, I didn't reload the page, my bad :)
Abie's fur turned grey: nervous, and she whined, wagging her tail. can shep have a light?
Felix started following the shep.
"Felix, wait. Remember the Spider Face?"
Felix looked back and nodded, checking to make sure he had a full magazine in his gun before continuing. Austin cautiously started to follow as well.

Mel took the phone back from Mashka and put it in her pocket. She looked up when she heard a distant thud.
"Hm." She started heading for the door. "Jarrod, I'm going to take a look at whatever that was."
"Alright, but be careful. You don't have a gun or anything."
"I know."
She crept down the hallway quietly, looking for the source of the noise. She spotted a couple of people in the foyer where they had been teleported to earlier.
Abie wiggled through the passageway, her fluffy tail occasionally hitting Felix in the face. It was cold - everything was cold.
(Where do we want the tunnel to lead?)
(I guess to a small circular room, but whatever you want will work :)
"Hold on, what was that about shoving me after who just now?" Asked Felix as the two caught up.
(Imma head of this rp again)
Abie eventually emerged into something big - well, bigger than the passageway, anyway.
shep found the end of the tunnel, she said. It was dark.
“Take one more step forward and I swear you’ll have another set of pockets!” A voice came from the darkness just ahead of them. It was a woman’s voice, young, and slightly husky. “Who the hell do you think you are to bring me here, you have no right! Send me back!”
hello? Abie asked, bouncing forwards. hello hello?
“What did I literally just say!” She cried in disbelief, “I thought threatened people were supposed to do what they’re told, not do the complete opposite.” She took a step toward the light, her fists raised and eyes flashing in anger and fright, she had no other weapon. She had rounded brown eyes and wet auburn hair. “What do you want from me?”
shep want a snuggle, Abie said hopefully, rolling over and exposing her soft, fluffy belly. give shep belly rub?
Her raised fists fell to her side and she blinked at the animal before her, “No…why…no.” She knelt beside Abie, scratching her stomach and marching over the soft fluffy fur. "If I give you a belly rub, will you send me…."Her eyes suddenly squinted in suspicion, “how did you get in here? The door was shut…who else is with you?” She lunged to her feet and back up against the wall.
Abie, who had giggled happily when she got a belly rub, whined, got up, and trotted after the woman. shep suddenly was here in a place where it was so dark and cold. then shep found friends. arwood sent shep in here, and felix came with fluffy shep.
“Arwood!” She cried, her voice was of full shock and relief she started forward then quickly mustered herself. “I’ve never heard of Felix.” She pointed behind Abie, “are they in the arena?” Before she got an answer she started pushing Abie toward the small hallway. “I want to get out of here, I hate the cold.”
arwood is this way. Abie nosed Felix. Her nose was cold. felix, get out of the way of the fluffy shep.
She eyed Felix in suspicion, before ducking into the tunnel and crawling toward the door. “What’s your name anyway?” She asked Abie, “Where are you from? I’ve never met an animal that has that color of fur, the only saving grace is that it’s soft.” She tried sounding tough and not frightened but was highly aware of the man behind her.
Mint and Calix started to look around. “Where are we?”

Felix shook his head and moved out of the way. "Sorry. Um. Is this room all there is back here?"
Austin ducked and peaked down the tunnel. "Any demons Felix? Am I going to have to drag you corpse out of there?"
