Arwood watched Felix for a moment, then, shaking his head started down the pit. Just as Felix performed an overhead cut, Arwood unsheathed his sword and met the stroke in a bind. In a smooth motion, he broke off by rising the hilt and taking a step forward, trapping the messer underneath his shoulder, at the same moment, he pressed the edge of his sword against Felix’s wrist and twisted out. The sword was yanked from the opponent’s grasp and Arwood stopped with the tip of his sword right at Felix’s chest.
He gave a thin smile, “It has been a while since I used that technique,” he held out the sword waiting for Felix to take it back.
Felix took the sword and looked it over, as if looking for some sort of button that would make it easier to use or something. He seemed genuinely amazed. "Interesting. That was graceful."
Austin thought of something. "Hey Felix! The kitchen had a pantry with anything I could want. It would replace stuff as soon as it was gone too!"
"What's your point?"
"Want to try the weapons room?"
A grin grew on Felix's face. In a single motion, he dropped the sword and drew the Desert Eagle from his breast pocket and checked it over. "I like what you're thinking. I like it a lot."
Felix dashed up the stairs into the armory room and began looking around. Underneath a table, Felix found a neat box of .50 caliber bullets.
"Oh this is going to be fucking sick."
Arwood picked up the dropped sword and rested it against the wall before turning to Austin in a wondering glance.
“What was that thing he drew out?” He asked, leaning against his sword curious where Felix went, and what he getting. “What grand idea did you put in his head?”
"That's right, Jarrod said you were from the 1300s. Okay so imagine a cannon, except really small. Now make that cannon ten times as powerful and you have Felix's Desert Eagle. Give him a minute and you'll see. Oh that reminds me." Austin turned to the armory room where Felix was. "Felix! Grab some ear protection!"
Felix scanned the room and spotted a small box of ear plugs. He picked up a knife as well.
A few minutes later, everyone had been given earplugs and Felix had grabbed a bench and leaned it against the pit wall. It had a target carved into it.
Felix held up the gun with one hand and concentrated. A spiral of energy appeared around his gun arm and Felix unloaded the magazine into the bench, 8 .50 caliber bullets into a wooden bench. The center of the bench where the target was exploded into splinters 8 times, leaving holes 3 or 4 inches across.
Felix held up the gun, looking pleased with himself. The magic that had spiraled around his arm had dissipated into the air, leaving smoky white trails as it did. Felix struck a pose for Austin and Arwood.
Arwood watched Felix closely as he went about his routine before shotting the device. As the 8 loud bangs faded Arwood took the buds out of his ears nodding his head in approval as he stared at the splintered bench. “You have a good eye. How long does it take one to learn how to shoot something like that…” He trailed off suddenly as if something had crossed his mind. “Do you know someone named Kale? He spoke of something similar to that, but he called it a… a gun.”
Abie, who still had the knife in her mouth, whined for someone to take her earplugs out.

Felix nodded. "This is a gun, Desert Eagle is just the name of company that makes it. It doesn't take long, you just have to get you used to the recoil. I wouldn't recommend using this for your first time, I have to use magic just hold it steady. Someone like you would probably be able to shoot it with both arms as long as you know how to use it."
Austin pulled out his earplugs and then pulled out Abie's. "If you guys think we missed anything, you should probably go check it out. I'm going to look and see if there's a way back into the mansion that isn't through some secret passage and head out."
Arwood nodded and began to investigate every inch of the arena. He checked behind armor and weapon stands, moving benches looking for hidden trapdoors, and running his hands along the ground and wall, pausing every now and then as if to listen. He halted near the center of the arena and knelt to one knee head tilted a little to one side, studying the ground intently. “Ah, I seem to have found a sign, come take a look.” He indicated a thin layer of sawdust sprinkled about the ground. “The sawdust could have been put there years previous but those more recent.” He pointed out multiple blotches of wet sawdust, he glanced up awaiting their reply.
Abie, who had been following Arwood around and helping as best she could, trundled over and sniffed the sawdust, then sneezed.

Mashka, meanwhile, took the phone out of Mel's hands and examined it curiously. "It glows."
(Oh look, some fluffy sheps)
(Aww, those are adorable!)
(Oo, I might use this as a way to add in another character. if that's alright with y'all.)
Myra turned to Mel, "Those were gunshots… right? Should we be worried? Never mind don't answer that. I'm going to worry anyway."
(Anyone? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?)
(I think we were waiting for either @Williamnot and/or @Stone_King_2931)
(However, sheps are notorious for being extremely ADHD creatures, so…)
(Let's wait until tomorrow at around noon-ish, and then maybe Abie can do something if nobody's responded yet.)
(Sorry y'all, I've been waiting to see if @Williamnot was gonna reply.)
(Sorry! School went BRRRRRR and I was buried under a mountain of homework)
(Yo, @Williamnot i made a Villain chat part 2!)
