“They are!” Blake agreed, chuckling softly. They actually didn’t mind feeling short sometimes though. “Like what’s the reason for it besides making us all feel small?” He asked, not super genuinely.
“Ah yes, I’m a god so I must be at least seven feet tall because reasons!” Kye joked. “Mother if you’re watching, I promise I’m joking,” he added quickly, looking up at the sky. The boy knew Mother would have probably only been somewhat frustrated or just disappointed if she decided to take him seriously. Mother was a good almighty being in his opinion.

Kye unfortunately had left his phone near Derlik, having been excited to spend time with Blake. He probably would have laughed some at Mother’s response though.

((Simon busts out like a few days before he turns 18 though, not even because he wants to escape, he just wants to see the world. And ofc he gets sick right away because he’s been outside only like a dozen times and then his soulmate from all his previous lives has to nurse him back to health))
