"Where's Elest?" Shaziri asks by way of casual conversation, though she too keeps her daggers ready and her eyes roaming in case anything tries to sneak up on them, "Or what's Elest?"

"Elest was the name of the forest in my world that I used to live in," Blade says, looking around. "It used to be my favorite place. At least until an idiot burned it down."
Shaziri grimaces, "Yikes. That's rough, reiga. I lost my home too, after my brothers went a little…" she whistled and twirled a finger around her ear, "Dragged me miles from our home country and set us up in Sheodor. Not so bad though, I guess," she shrugs, "I got to meet Nivian and the other Rochi Warriors, so that's a plus."
"I'd like to see that," Blade says. "I'm stuck as one of the most important people in Zestria while war's coming and no one's even kind of ready. Honestly, this place is some sort of break for me." She looks into the distance. "These worlds are messed up."
Shaziri barks a short, bitter laugh, "I feel you on the war thing. Trouble's brewing in Sheodor too, and somehow Nivian's smack in the middle of it. He could be dealing with his problems, not noooo, he has to be vanishing into thin air in the middle of war meetings to be a dannan hero elsewhere." she shakes her head, "Anyway, mind filling me in on what exactly we're looking for here? Something to do with magic candles?"
"I don't know all the details. Some sort of evil candlemaker that we need to murder with his own candles. Apparently his candles are magic and do strange things." Blade shrugged.
Jordie glances over to Dawn and blinks yes. (-.– . …)

Shaziri hums, "Mkay. So I'm guessing he's at that scary-looking tower there?"
She points to the black spire peeking up over the treetops.
"That's what we think," Blade said with a shrug. "Should we go over and see if there's anything we need to be aware of over there?"
Shaziri grins and nods, "Sounds like a plan to me."
Blade starts walking faster, feeling a sense of dread pricking at the back of her neck.
Jordie blinks in agreement.
While the two women scout ahead, Phoenix turns to the rest of the group.
"When everyone's ready, we'll follow them," he says, "And stay alert. There might be more of those weird candles out there."
Dawn entered the very outer layer of Jordie's thoughts, knowing only what Jordie was actively trying to convey. "want to test it out?"
Jordie envisions the word yes.
"it works. that's great! I'll leave the connection open, so if you need me to say anything, i'll hear it immediately." Dawn said, smiling happily.
"Amazing, sounds great." Jordie transmits.
Dawn nods, so jordie would know she heard her.
Jordie's eyes brighten in thankfulness.
(aww i'm loving building these bonds between characters)
(I totally agree!)
Titus couldn't help but smile ever so slightly at the rag-taggle group.
emilie noticed, but didnt say anything. "the misfits are off to murder a candlemaker." she muttered. "how fun."
Titus' smile fell.
"Leave me out of the killing."
Emilie: "Oh! i'm so sorry, i didn't mean to say that allowed." The six-year-old groaned. "I'm really sorry."
