Hinata floated over to Gavrin.
"I think I have something that can help you communicate." She pulled out a dark green gem.
Hinata floated over to Gavrin.
"I think I have something that can help you communicate." She pulled out a dark green gem.
(I need to hug Malaki. NOW.)
Gavrin inspected the gem, hoping it would work. It would be nice not to have to be a demeaning parrot to speak.
“Can you transform into a human?” Milly asked, leaning towards Gavrin.
"Now, this might prick." Hinata put the gem at the corner of Gavrin's mouth.
"It's a translator gem."
Gavrin squinted suspiciously at Milly, nodding slowly.
(Cinthia is Moko and Furball/Hazsudo's master. Malaki is the only familiar that didn't show up in that other rp)
"Try and talk."
“I am a spirit, and yes, technically I can be human, but that form is sacred.”
“Oh.” Milly didn’t know that spirits could talk, though she never had seen one before either.
"Good, it works. It doesn't work for some beings, for some reason."
Tiak was finishing off the deer, but then looked at Gavrin, realizing he was now a tiger.
“Want to have the rest of this?” She asked politely. Gavrin nodded hungrily, and walked over to the carcass, taking a big bite out of the leg.
Milly uncomfortably watched feeling like she was going to throw up.
Like the child she never could be, Cinthia grew content with playing with the dirt. She molded it into little creatures and smiled as she watched them run around as if they were alive. Leaves turned to birds and dragons and phoenixes that swooped down to the dirt creatures to join in on the fun. Malaki scooted closer, huffing defeatedly, and Cinthia sighed and summoned a bad of McDonald's, tossing the entire bag towards him. He eagerly sat up and grabbed the bag, chowing down on the multiple burgers and even chewing on the bag.
Her other familiars, Moko and Haszudo, joined him. Moko instantly attacked the fries, and Haszudo picked at pieces of meat that Malaki dropped.
"Here, you don't have to look." Katsuo gave Milly a picture. It was of a magnificent city, the buildings rose hues, with a crystal ocean at the edge.
"This is where my friend came from."
Gavrin finished the meat quickly, evidently very hungry. Blood is spattered all over his silky, orange and white furred face.
Millys eyes widened in amazement as she took the picture in her small hands, “So pretty! I’ve never been to a city before!”
"I haven't been here myself. It's very rare I go to cities, either. Unless they're post-apocalyptic or seriously bad."
He gave a wistful smile.
"This place was destroyed before I was forged."
Tiak finished licking the blood off her paws and face, and walked up behind Milly, peering at the picture.
“What is this made of?” She touched the paper the picture was on, less fascinated with the picture and more so with the paper.
"Um… ink and paper?"
"Why?" Hinata asked from across the clearing.
Milly jumped slightly, the snake woman still made her nervous.
“I’ve never heard of ink and paper. This is so cool.” Tiak gently held the picture, examine it with awe. Gavrin face-palmed.
"We use it to keep images of things we want to remember perfectly." Katsuo gave a sad smile.
"Or to show other's what you remember."
Tiak placed the paper on the ground gently, making a mental note to tell Juij about this when she got home.
